Thank you so much for sharing this! I had heard this existed but this is the first time hearing it. Sounds like the person named Code Purple that has a version called Demo 7 but does not have P calling the shots in the beginning. I live in Mpls and met him in 1987/1988 NYE party at Paisley. Miko introduced us. Since then I literally have been to Paisley hundreds of times over 29 years of knowing him and never heard the Ladder live. Another favorite is “Forever in my Life” and although the has played that out there but very infrequently. He seemed to play these two in Europe more than here from what I notice. I still miss him everyday. Thank you again :-).

I've seen him many many times in Europe. he rarely plays the ladder but forever in my life was always an exceptional moment cause he took it straight to church in a acoustic version with different back ups for men and women in the crowd

I can’t stop crying! 😔🥲😭Reminiscing on a dream I had a few months ago, I didn’t know where it came from or where it was going? 🕊️🤷‍♀️ Even though I think about my mother everyday since she passed on August 13 2022 this is the first dream that I had about my mother who always had a smile on her face everyday until she passed! 🥰🥲When I’m asleep often I’ll have a glimpse of my mothers face and I’ll wake up but this was the first actually dream of my mother and I. As Tears are streaming down my face I wonder what does this dream mean? 🤷‍♀️ In my dream My mother and I was walking up this ladder and I look down only to realize she only had one leg. I kept telling my mother to hold on I got you, mom I got you! 🕊️😔 Then I woke up from my dreamed and went to use the bathroom and hurried up and fell asleep because I wanted to finish the dream. As my dream continued we were still walking up the same ladder. 🪜 The repetition of saying mom I got you and holding out my hand was necessary in order to get my mother up the ladder with her only having one leg! 🥰🙏💜Then I woke up questioning Jehovah God asking what does this dream mean? Mom had both both her legs when she passed and why was I pulling her up a ladder? 🪜🤷‍♀️😔🥲 I dream often and sometimes I’ll write a spoken word afterwards, I thank Jehovah God for this gift! 🙏💜 As I continue to ask God what does this dream mean? It’s my belief that God revealed my mother was trying to tell me something in my dream. 😔 God revealed that mother is saying I’m okay, stop crying I’m not in pain anymore. In your dream you carried me up the ladder you’ve always had me until death did us part. I was there when you took your first breath and you were with me when I took my last breath, we had unconditional love! 🙏💜🥲Then I thought about the dream I had after Princes emergency flight landing because he was unresponsive. At that time I felt I had to see Prince because something didn’t feel right, it seemed like he was going through something. As I continue reminiscing on how I planned on purchasing my ticket for Prince Piano And A Microphone concert in Atlanta on April 14, 2016 only to realize the tickets were sold out! 😞 God probably knew it was for the best because I couldn’t have dealt with seeing Prince in concert for the last time then he leaves us a few days later. 🥲 Since the age of eighteen I’ve been blessed to have seen Prince in concert every time he came to my hometown and once I seen him perform in New York. As the tears continue to stream down my face I’m questioning God what does this dream mean and why am I’m thinking about Prince?🤷‍♀️ 🥱😪😴When I was fully awake Beyoncé song “ I Miss You “ was the first song I started to play, it was my comfort song when my mother first passed. Then I thought about my dream and the ladder. 🤷‍♀️The ladder is a symbolic message! 🕊️👼 Prince and my mother who’s no longer with us revealed through my dream they’re okay. Then I kept thinking about the ladder and what does it mean? 🤷‍♀️ 🤔 Then I thought about Prince song the ladder and decided to play it. 🎸💃🕺 As I listened to the lyrics God revealed that even though Prince and my mother are no longer with us they pray that we get through this thing called life. They came here and did what they was supposed to do, they showed love for everyone. If you knew my mother she kept the faith until the end. She couldn’t see Jehovah but she felt his presence, he was all she talked about. Thank you mom for instilling this in me that Faith is believing without seeing! Prince was the same, anyone that was was a fan of Prince realize that since the beginning Prince always acknowledged God in his songs! My mother was my Queen and my king was Prince! 💋😘 Since a child some of My dreams are telepathic messages from above that’s shown with love! Blessed to have a colonized mind! 💜🙏How will story began and how will it end? Unconditional love is the key, we are the world we are the children, the rainbow children. One nation under a groove. 😘🥰🤘🏾👵👩‍🎤👏🏾👦👧Yes everyone is looking for the ladder. 🙏💜 Forgive and give your love ones their flowers now. Some you may have to love from afar in order to keep the peace but never carry hate in your heart! 🌹🌼🌸 Honor your mother father because tomorrow isn’t promised. Everyone is the looking for the ladder! Heaven Or Paradise Only Jehovah God Is The Judge! Thank you Prince for such a heartfelt song, pray that someone play the ladder at my funeral. As simple as it seems, he was so specific about different eras. Every album was literally a different era, but like you said, does it really matter? The date is all that's important.
