I'm old enough to remember the funeral of George VI, parents had respect because of WWII and procession wasn't far from home. By about 18 I had trouble understanding why we still had a monarchy. (Baloney that monarchy pays for itself by bringing in tourists still gets trotted out.)

Oddly the other Chinese H-6 is a copy of the Soviet TU-16 bomber, a 1950’s design, delivered to China in 195, roughly analogous to the Boeing B-47 (retired 1967) and VIckers Valiant (retired 1965). Post the 1959/60 Sino-Soviet split they managed to license produce it. China has run with it and is still in limited production as mainly an anti ship missile carrier.
