It is so nice to see how Charles and Camilla interact w each other. They genuinely enjoy each others company, are in sync w each other's humor and clearly respect each of their positions in the royal hierarchy. She never shoves him aside to be the 1st one introduced, neither is in constant need of holding the other by hand or via a hand on the other's back, neither of them seems to feel the need to be the center of attention and I haven't seen either one of them sulk and/or bat their eyes feverishly when they weren't. I did not like Camilla initially because she contributed greatly to Diana and Charles' marriage dissolving. I have seen come to see her as a pretty genuine person w very good intentions. She went through some awful scrutiny at times and stayed the course because she really loves him. She wasn't in it for the fame and money like another royal wife clearly appears to be.

I never understood the hate this couple got. They went through so much and stuck together through it all. It really just shows the bias of people due to physical appearance. I think if Diana was no younger and so prettier than Camilla more people would side with the main Charles and Camilla from the beginning, since it was their tragic (now finally happy) love story from the start, and Diana was only an albeit very unfortunate side character. The poor woman obviously was treated badly by the royal family, but Charles and Camilla was just as much the victim of the story and her. It was of course tragic what happened with Diana at the end. I am happy that at least Charles and Camilla got their happy ending after so many years of suffering. I feel so uncomfortable when people say that they somehow scorned Diana and do not deserve to be happy. Especially Camilla, she obviously loves Charles deeply if she stuck by him for so long. They suffered through just as much, do anyone in their right mind think that if they could have just gotten married at the beginning and avoided the whole ordeal with Diana they wouldn't have? I wish these two all the happiness.

Diana was 19 when they met and didn't have a clue about Camilla until it was too late! Her name and face were already printed on the tea towels! They exchanged vows! She bore an heir AND a spare! One can only lie back and think of England for so long. It is sweet that Charles and Camilla are having their happy ending but I would hardly say they suffered as much as Diana did. Considering that Diana did not even get away with her life in the end. Tragic....
@JustChillingOnTattoine4 жыл бұрын
@@skontheroad2666 Diana's death was not Charles or Camilla's fault. It is not fair to say that because she died they do not deserve to be happy. Diana did get away, she was living perfectly well as a divorcee for years, and stayed a in the spotlight which obviously drew the media attention we all know ended in the tragic accident in Paris years later. I am not saying that she was not a wonderful woman for her charity work, but she had a very love-hate relationship with the media, and if anything caused her death it was her choice of staying a public figure after the divorce. Also, just put yourself in Charles´shoes being told that you have to marry someone young and naive who you have nothing in common with, instead of the woman you actually love because you need a suitable wife who can bare your heirs to the throne. On top of that, this girl turns out to have rather serious mental health issues. I do feel sorry for him being trapped in that situation, I feel sorry for all three of them and for the boys too for having to go through an experience like that all in the name of outdated traditions and societal norms. Instead of saying that because of Diana's death they should not be happy, I would say that at least of of the three, they have a chance of happiness so late in life. I am pretty sure that they do carry guilt because of Diana, that's more than enough.

It's part of their job to visit and encourage (naturally such things would never happen in a republic) The event was a celebration of 525th anniversary of the founding of the "Beefeaters" by King Henry VII
@MandyJMaddison2 жыл бұрын
While this is two years old, I am answering anyway. I cannot imagine why anyone would be so ignorant as to think they "do nothing" They are the patrons of hundreds of Charitable organisations- health care, social care, educational, military, legal, and the arts. They receive invitations to functions from these organisations regularly- far more tan they can attend. As Prince of Wales, Charles has been President of n organisation called The Prince's Trust, with sixteen charities that he has been closely involved in organising and directing. The MAIN charity provides opportunity for disadvantaged youths, particularly making grants to set them up in small businesses, but also providing training and encouragement. Charles and Camilla, the Princess Royal, Prince Edward, Countess Sophie, and the Duke of Kent have actively supported the Queen by fulfilling a lot of her engagements outside London. So Charles, or his sister might typically travel to a rural centre, say Birmingham, and there, in the course of a day would attend our functions, including a parade by the local regiment (for which they would change into uniform) and an official banquet at the Town Hall with the Mayor and Aldermen. They would visit a hospital, gaol, university, charity, or open a building or launch a ship or present awards. And everywhere they went, particularly at the Town Hall, there would be thousands of people, including every schoolchild in the city, wanting to see them, shake their hand or give them flowers. The day would start with a briefing by their senior Aide. It would often involve travelling with a dresser to maintain three or four changes of clothes. They would need to remember the names of the most significant people they were meeting at each place They might make two or three written speeches, as well as brief speeches of thanks and congratulations. They generally do this about 100 days a year. So when you see them looking relaxed, they are actually working to a tight schedule. On top of this are a series of events, some of which are Royal, Political or National, and some of which involve British Culture. So: The Opening of Parliament, which involves a military parade down the Mall. Th spectacular Trooping of the Colours on the Monarch's official Birthday. The Remembrance Service at he Cenotaph. The Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey Four Garden Parties at Buckingham Palace, each to honour about 1,000 people selected from their local region for community service. (this can involve everyone from the Bishop to the person who attends the school crossing) Two Garden Parties at Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh. Several ceremonies each year at which people are Knighted for their services, receive Military medals and other awards. The Monarch welcomes every new ambassador with a special ceremony. The Monarch meets with the Prime Minister every week. By way of entertainment, they attend several Royal Command Performances each year, They attend the premiers of important British movies, James Bond for example. They patronise the Royal Ballet, Theatre, Opera and Visual arts. They attend the Royal Chelsea Flower Show The Royal Braemar Gathering, The Edinburgh Royal Military Tattoo They attend the Royal Ascot Races. and the Royal Agricultural Show. They attend Wimbledon and other sporting events. Princess Anne is a member of the International Olympics Committee and an Olympic Equestrian Judge. And every year, some of them make overseas tours, which are essentially Diplomatic in nature. This is what the working Royals do.

Subject: Generating unlimited power-energy, without petroleum wells, pipelines, petroleum tanker vessels, offshore drilling rigs, plus without any pollution, oil spills, carbon monoxide, and other hazardous elements: I have ideas-solutions to solve energy crisis, problems with environment, how to have an economy without burning our air, atmosphere and destroying our nature. Healthy, self sufficient living environments and some other useful ideas, solutions with talent and many skills, I will appreciate if you could suggest me who would be interested in my concern and solutions on these critical cases. My solution could run machines being directly connected to them or connected to electrictric alternators to generate electric. It doesn't use any other forces to generate power, power being produced by design of the mechanism. It doesn't have to be anywhere particular, like high windy places, a special place for sun or where natural steam flows, or in hot or cold conditions. It could be in a car's boot or in a room in a house-factory. There is no noise, no filters for smoke, fumes or hazardous wastes etc. Total quiet and environment-nature friendly. With this project it's possible to generate unlimited mechanical or electrical energy include cooling and heating, without producing any dangerous wastes, carbon monoxide or other dangerous elements. Device is completely maintenance-carefree except changing it's lubricant per year or per five years like a car's gearbox. If It will apply to buildings separately from the electricity lines, generating power for homes-factories could be totally unlimited from any costs any dangerous-hazardous wastes. Same for transportation machines-vehicles. To Heal the Earth (Where Nature lost it's flora) and Agriculture Adding some extensions to energy device it’s possible to creating artificial rain, using hot or cold weathers, without using extra effort and budget. After storing enough amout of water, and cooling the sand-soil with this water with spreading it like rain; grass-plants should be planed in the sand-soil, and after that, a few different species of bugs should be spreaded that could live in the grass, a few small animals would eat those bugs and so on. It's possible to create a flora and a small life circle easily and repeating this circle in the same place for a while, air will cool down and it will be possible to see real raindrops on those infertile soil and farming and living there could be possible. For Buildings I have an idea-project to making building walls, in a very efficient, less cost, more flexible, more durable, more insulated, lighter(to move the entire house), cleaner and faster way. With this way it's possible to build two sided insulated walls in a few hours with one person for entire one floor house. No brick work, no concrete, no drywall-plaster work not even paint work (paint work for indoors and outdoors would be optional) everthing to build walls in one time. It's even possible to use same walls for recycling, or move the entire house to another location. For safety systems I have other ideas-projects to solving busy trafficking in cities-motorways and a safety cabin system for car accidents, which both solving busy traffic and safety cabin system ideas are for saving lives. Business idea: An economy based on feeding the nature with clean water and oxygen while Generating Unlimited heating-cooling-mechanical and electrical enenrgy, A/C without producing heat and healing the Earth where nature lost it's flora (infertile soil and deserts) I have projects and ideas that could create an environment which won't be depended on any sources. It can produce it's own self sufficiency. With this environment you can survive without depending anyone-anything, that no one can bother or it could be used as a secure base. I have many more of new ideas-projects like those above (which are the most critical) on different cases, such as, machines, machine tools, musical instruments, motor vehicles, airplanes and more. I have pages of drawings and 3D plans-modellings for my designs-projects. I can build all those ideas-projects by myself with my hands as prototypes, with precision and high qualities to test under your quality standards.

Serdar Ulusoy didn’t Prince William announce an award for these type of ideas? Perhaps if you contact KP they will direct you. Good luck

Lisann Cornelis thank you for your care. I only heard about the Earthshot Prize but if there any other announcements I will check. Forgive me for my lack of knowledge but I don't know about KP.

This visit is totally out of context and inappropriate, history wise. The people behind it can’t make their job accurately, both on the Prince household side and the management of the Tower.
