Similarly to recognitions in the US like Presidential Medal of Freedom, Arts, among many other categories, Kennedy Center honors, some artful, some in other "what-matters-in-the-real-world disciplines." It's not just about rich people giving money in whatever way makes them look good(Most of them would! That does not make them stand out, but what makes one person with money stand out from other people with money), but standing out with the best contributions in their respective fields - including acting and filmmaking. And clearly you don't know much about the "artist" knights, or have a closeminded view of this knighthood "honoring" the UK does, in general. Nobel peace prizes are extremely political. Giving Churchill one in Literature. Lmfao right, right...sure his career as PM had nothing to do with that...Medicine/economics/physics are the real deal, because they actually show research that was done in relation to similar research of the field and we know why and how much it matters.

Prince Charles and Princess Diana visited Pinewood during production of The Living Daylights, sometime in 1986 or before the film released in 1987, with Timothy Dalton escorting them around set. This time, the Prince of Wales traded one Bond for another in touring the set with Daniel Craig. 😁

As an American, I m not sure you would see such reverence, because somebody would say something really rude to him for no reason.... The British, by contrast, seem to have a deep respect for their royal family.

I think Prince Charles, will make a excellent King after the Queens reign has finished. More approachable , happy to chat with everyone, which appeals to the General public.
