Love the video…and btw: this is inspired by #carmenelectra…everyone knows the story by now…he found out she was “stepping out” and he bought her a first class ticket back to LA with this cassette in her pocket. Fun fact: in Mayte’s memoir she says she always felt they performed better after an argument 😁it was like proving something to one another…makes you think about this performance 😁

It’s actually written from “a woman’s point of view.” And was inspired again by #maytejannellgarcia after it was discovered #prince had a “paramour” from Canada. Soon after his first marriage over and he was on to wife #2.

Highly recommend The ‘Ballad of Dorothy Parker’ from Sign O’ Times-CD version. Also, ‘Joy and Repetition’ and ‘Lady Cab Driver’ for just album reactions. Also recommend videos ‘Somebody’s Somebody’ from Emancipation, ‘Cream’, ‘Partyman’ and ‘Batdance’ long length videos. Live version of Sweet Thing with Chaka Khan and Prince is amazing too.
