Very perceptive of you…yes, Prince seems to be speaking from the grave with the messages in some of his songs. The lessons he was leaving for all of us about what he learned while he was here, would be (IS) out there for us to pick up on for many years to come. Especially later in his career some of the songs were trying to enlighten us about the ever after. Like The Word, Everlasting Now, The Cross, Temptation, etc etc… very wise and interesting person.

a friend of mine told me a story about a concert. this guy was working security and something had happened. prince was on his way backstage to his dressing room i guess. he saw that this security guy was getting chewed out about something. and in the background (behind the angry guy's back), prince was mimicking the angry boss (or whoever). and the security guy who was really getting ripped into...just couldn't hold it and started laughing. prince left yet luckily someone explained to the angry guy what was happening and the security guy got off the hook

I started my royal trip with Prince back in 1979 with I want to be your lover. I was 17...and still love this trip with Prince he will always be my favorite and it is sad many will never even get to hear or even know this song which is one of my favorite... I was so talented and I will miss songs we know nothing about...he was just so very humble and talented. Didn't they report this dude FACEDOWN in his elevator? Then, in Let's go crazy be said "are we gonna let the ELEVATOR bring us down". How ironic he died like this, in April (Sometimes it snows in APRIL) "All good things say never lasts". This is crazy.
