What he eats, how much sleep (bedtime), stay close to daddy, no best friends at school. (He has security at school). A situation of which he is unfamiliar, he turned away. Think about it.....an older or bigger kid comes near him, is that a threat or not? Hide to my daddy, he will protect me. People over think children. More than a younger boy's response, I wonder is that other boy British. To approach those people is a no, no. I'm surprised that a stranger got that close to even try and touch him. Maybe he is a foreigner but his parents need to teach him the correct way of approach. The rules are, you don't even shake their hand UNLESS they extend their hand FIRST. Their domain, their law and rules.

You mean out of touch with today’s world. There is nothing dignified in being rude to someone who was just being nice to him, never mind how appropriate or inappropriate the other boy was. As someone pointed out above, it’s not the first time this young man rejects greetings, and his parents could start explaining that real people in the real world have different kinds of greetings, which doesn’t make them in any way inferior or superior. It looks like he’s already being raised to look down on the people he is supposed to serve one day.

Real world? Just because you live in a different "world" from him doesn't make your "world" any more real than his. Get over your entitlement. And at Prince George's age, he is too young to understand the concept of superiority or inferiority; he simply rejected that greeting because he just didn't recognize it not because it was "inferior" or "beneath him". So get over your insecurity and inferiority complex and start to recognize things for what it is. Prince George is raised well, lot better than majority of the kids today I would say. And one last thing: The Royal family is NOT elected so their job is NOT to serve you entitled and pompous people. Their job is serve God; their job is answering a calling. I actually feel so bad for him. Just because he's born into the Royal family, at the age of mere 6, he has to be exposed to and be criticized for just not answering back a gesture of greeting that he doesn't recognize especially when that greeting gesture is not the proper greeting etiquette to begin with. And yes, even though you are too ignorant to know but there IS such thing as "proper" and "improper" in this world.

Feline Queen First, stop calling people names such as “ignorant”, start learning polite debate even if you disagree with the ideas you are arguing against. Secondly, I have nothing against the little boy, clearly he must be overwhelmed with public duties at an age where he shouldn’t be busy with such nonsense (although this is a very small price for the huge privileges that he will have throughout his life). Thirdly, I am paying, however little, for the royal family too, so I don’t feel that the royals may simply disregard their people on the pretext that they serve God, it’s not God who pays for their privileges, I’m afraid. Finally, William and Kate are doing a very poor job carrying these kids to all sort of public events to meet boring adults and shake hands with people they don’t know. But if they do carry them, they should start educating them not to refuse greetings in whatever form they may come. If he’s old enough for a hand shake, he’s old enough to get a high five too.
