Prince Harry under fire for wearing medals during army award presentation

Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue says Prince Harry was involved in a “kerfuffle” after choosing to wear medals during a remote presentation of a US army award.
The Duke of Sussex has copped criticism for wearing four medals - including his grandmother's various Jubilees - while handing out the award for Military Times Soldier of the Year to combat medic Sergeant First Class Elizabeth Marks.
“People are questioning why he didn’t wear the medal that he got for coming to the King’s coronation,” Ms Krakue said.
“People are saying that’s a snub to the King and he’s trying to create a clear line between his life pre-the Queen and before he fled to the US with Meghan and after, when his father became King.
“Obviously it’s hard to tell whether these kinds of moves are calculated by the Sussex’s because that would require us to give them a degree of intelligence and cleverness.”

And I understand he didn’t even earn them. A recipient had to be on active duty and to have served 5 years, I heard. Harry was given commemorative ones as a member of the family, as all the family received them as commemorative gifts. Seems odd to me that he wears them. He seems to want to advertise that he is a member of the royal family (that’s how he got them) but, as you say, he has publicly trashed them, over and over. He can’t seem to decide what his own message is. In my opinion, it makes him look all he more like he’s playing toy soldiers. Allegedly, my opinion.

I’m not sure how dedicated Harry is to military causes when as Captain General of the Royal Marines he snubbed a memorial service to murdered marines and instead attended the Lion King premier where he was caught touting for work for Markle with Disney chief, Bob Iger. Working in RAF Germany and losing friends during the troubles when Harry decided that his wife's career was more important than remembering those that had lost their lives whilst serving the Late Queen is what turned many vet including myself away from him and his wife. I lost all respect for him and so did so many others who had thought he was there for his Comrades in Arms. He has no respect for the Military accept when using the IG as a fashion show for his wife. Those Invictus Games were founded/begun by Harry ONLY in conjunction with William, Catherine, AND then Prince Charles. The late Queen agreed and suggested Harry might a good fit as Patron of the Games and the other three concurred. Three of those medals are jubilee medals. Only one is an actual service medal for Harry's 10 weeks in total of deployment where he was kept protected in a bunker. He never saw any live action and was flown out any time there was real danger. It's insulting to anyone who served their country that Harry is handing out awards to anyone. Doesn't the American military have someone more deserving candidate for this particular occasion? Harry and his IGLBW have destroyed The Invictus Games. They do nothing but turn up and take credit for all the hard work other people have done. They don't raise any money for the veterans or the games. They just turn up via private jet, stay in 5 star hotels and charge Invictus for all their expenses including Meghan's inappropriate wardrobe choices. The games are no longer about the veterans, they are the Harry and Meghan show. If I was a veteran, I would refuse to participate until Invictus find a more suitable patron.

I'm an American, and I'm very sick and tired of the "Harry and Meghan show"! 🤬 While Harry may claim this attachment to the Invictus games, he seems to have no problem cheapening such an important thing by allowing his wife to hijack every aspect of the games!🤬 She can "support" her husband and the games FROM THE SIDELINES, NOT by giving speeches, being in the middle of award presentations, or marching IN FRONT OF REAL SOLDIERS!!🤬 Harry and his wife are RUINING the games! Stop with the "easing" Harry out, and just give him a quick shove the hell out before he and his controlling shrew wife do any more damage!!

He worked in the army for exactly 10 weeks. All soldiers out there were given a medal. As I understand. Harry was paid thousands to give that award. Both he and Rachel use Invictus money for private jets. Clothes. 5 star hotels and special food. The rest of the Royal Family work hard for their charities for nothing and oft times give money themselves.

Harry copied the American Warrior Games (which both Princes were involved from the start except only Prince William stills donates $$$ to .) The thing that really made my blood boil is that H is made out to be some big war hero, when that's so far from the truth!!! Harry was protected and never saw the front lines!!! H being there put REAL SOLDIERS at risk, he put a bigger target on the soldiers that was babysitting him and where he was stationed . H given out an American Military Award for Solider of the year whilst he is wearing 1 British military medal & 3 medals for the late Queen ,his Grandmother, jubilee's is 100% disrespectful , cringe and gross!!! Let's get real here - if H were so dedicated to the Invictus Games, why was The Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, Whistler's games the Harry & Meghan show?
