In his book Spare Harry mentioned he saw/ realised the true costs of war on his flight home from Afghanistan to the UK when inside the plane he saw 3 bodies of soldiers (you could see the bodies were blown to pieces) wrapped in plastic. If the atrocities of a war just hit you on the way home from Afghanistan, for me, it proves Harry didn't spent time on the battlefield close to the enemy because then you would realise the costs of war right there during the battle the moment your army mates get wounded or killed.

The problem with Harry's medals is that he did nothing to earn them. He was known as Bunker Harry amongst his fellow soldiers because that's where he stayed, in his special tent, playing video games. He was called "the weekender" because he would fly in with photographers and leave at the end of the weekend. He was also called "the idiot." The other soldiers were glad to see the back of him. He has never flown an Apache helicopter, which is the most complex helicopter out there. It takes YEARS to learn how to fly one. He wasn't in the field long enough to gain the skill necessary to fly any helicopter, much less an Apache. He continually failed his tests while in the military so never attained the level of captain. Apparently that is why he ended up leaving the military; there was no future there for him. So please Richard Fitzwilliams, STOP referring to his glorious tours in Afghanistan and his admirable bravery. It is a fiction.

Sadly, Archie and Lili are destined to be completely irrelevant. Prince Richard, the current Duke of Gloucester, was born No 5 in the Line of Succession, eg he was the equivalent for his time of what Harry is now, the current No 5. But he has now moved down to No 33, and despite having been a working royal for most of his adult life, very few British people under 55 probably even know who he is, or explain his relationship to the monarch. That same fate awaits the Sussex family, in due course. So they are just not important.

They're participation medals given to many who participated at the jubilees, they're NOT military medals. I agree the invictus games need a thorough audit to see how much H&M have cost the charity, just to be clear my opinion is that that they should not be taking any money from the charity and I'd rather they had nothing to with invictus at all, Harry's and by default Megan's association do nothing but damage the brand and nobody should donate funds to invictus until they are nothing to do with the charity even if it means short term hardship for the charity or Invictus itself agrees to sign a commitment that none of the funds they receive as charitable donations will be used for the pair.

Why is he desperate to keep his military status when one of his instructors has already told that he never passed any exams including flight tests but the high up told them to give it to him. As for Afghanistan he flew in on a Friday with a camera crew who took photos of him using a gun on the gun range .Then they did a emergency photo shoot of helicopter taking off harry running taking his seat at the gunner station in the helicopter as he can't fly an apache helicopter plus the pilot seat is at the rear of the apache . It took off circled landed on Sunday Harry and his security camera crew took off again this happened every weekend. When he was there he was kept in a bunker surrounded by security so much for him fighting and being a hero 😂.

I'm sure PH found a sense of purpose in the military rather than anything else he participated (schooling, relationships, royal service, etc.) But, he can't over sell it as wasn't like the experience of other soldiers, rather a very coddled & protected time on tour. Due to being part of the RF, he was a high value target so had to be protected in order to avoid the PR disaster if he ever got caught by enemy. It was unfortunate for him to choose this route as his presence on tour used military resources to babysit him that could have been applied to the real cause (war.) Think PoW made much better choice and actually developed real life skills by succesfully obtaining his flying ratings and used them for actual employment in coastal rescue ops.
