Karlis, I got a suggestion: Maybe you could play the whole song first (on piano) and then do the tutorial chord by chord. I don't know about anyone else but it helps me when I hear what I'm supposed to be playing and what it should sound like before I learn it so I won't get confused.

To me, He thoroughly explains each section after he plays what he’s about to show. Most times even playing it through at the end. I found that I used to see it that way myself with other instructors. Not saying you but I was impatient with how I learned I thought that I couldn’t hear it unless I hear it. I later learned to go through the process especially cause it’s more rewarding via ear training and or chord recognition I found. Best wishes in your learning journey.

I have heard that suggestion and I appreciate it but with me doing the whole song and then teaching chord by chord will just make for a super long video. I have to manage my time effectively with all the requests and tutorials I do. I hope this makes sense because I always want to provide quality tutorials. Thanks again

Oooooooooooooooh man! That was so dope! Kilt it! I wish he would have sang it like this at some of his concerts with just him and the piano. It's like a whole different feel and mood to the song with just the piano and no other instruments. So earthy and bluesy this way. I love this! Love your rendition bruh! Thanks!!

You’re welcome. Thank you so much. I never knew how bluesy it was until I started studying it. It just goes to show how unique his production style was. Will never be another like him EVER

Yo KarlisMusik. I love the Prince "Originals" album where its all of his original recordings of songs he gave to other artist. Can you do tutorials on "Baby, You're A Trip", "The Glamorous Life", "Gigolos Get Lonely Too" "Sex Shooter" and "100 MPH". Sorry for asking for so many songs but these my jams and your tutorials actually help me play guitar because you give the Chord Progressions, the point when the chords change to the next and your extensions and inversions are easy to follow. Too often tutorials don't explain how long to hold the chord (i.e. A bar or 4 beats) And I can't tell by listening to the track because its all in the same key and their are a lot of instruments. You help me with keys too because you play it simple. A lot of keyboardist on KZbin try to impress with all these inversions turn arounds and movements and I'm left having to try and figure out how all of this is suppose to sound like the song. Gotta show how many beats each chord is played. Thanks Man these videos are amazing.
