Do Me Baby feels like Prince decided to encapsulate the very tonal essence of RnB from the preceding decade into one project. I hear the music of Isaac Hayes, Barry White, Minnie Ripperton, Marvin Gaye all in that tune.

My final 4 were 18 & Over, Underneath the Cream, Space (Universal Love Remix), and Call My Name and Underneath the Cream took the crown over Call My Name. Underneath the Cream is just one of those secure love songs. It feels like driving through the city on a summer night with the windows down. The respect for women being the givers of life is also *chef’s kiss * 💜

Loving your hair cut, very cute on you.💇‍♂The finale was super tough Forever in my love is one of my all time fav, call my name is up there too idk its hard i haven't made up my mind but i'm leaning towards Forever In My Life. I will probably change my mind cuz i just love "Call my name" i think Prince had missed being called Prince or he missed going by Prince after not bring able to use it, for a log time. After all it was his birth name and stage name. Great choice for the winner!

Haven't had a chance to watch the video yet (I'm on campus doing work. But it's in my history & I'll watch it this weekend), so I don't know your selections yet. But I took a look at the brackets via the dropbox (needed a break anyways). For me it came down to Forever in My Life versus Rockhard in A Funky Place. As much I like the Black Album, my final vote had to go with Forever in My Life. Rockhard is a funky track, no doubt, but Forever hits me in the feels. I guess Love won over sex.

This question has absolutely nothing to do with your most current post, but I'll ask anyway..Is there a particular reason why you never did a "Prince's Best Guitar Player" panel as you did for drummers and his bass players? As a guitarist myself, but also just a fan of each and every one of his former backup guitar players, I am really curious about yours and others opinion on this particular debate. I think I would choose Dez & Wendy as my personal favorites. But each of them brought something amazing to the live setting and sometimes the studio.
