Its actuallt my type of tune i like late eighties pop music or newjack music and I like cute soft voices. I also feel that maybe it was not that much an advantage to have such a famous brother as the same for the Michael Jackson siblings...

Great review, I kind of agree on most part with you except that "Anotherlover" is a very good solid track for me. On the other hand I'm really annoyed by all those weird little tracks that doesn't make sense, I think track 2 and 3 could have been hits if done as a proprer song. "Life can be" is just too bizarre almost a disaster, and "Sometimes it snow" is beautiful but too sad for this album, but yeah the 4 singles were solid hits and really good creative songs.

They were all good in their own right as Prince chose them at the point of requirement in certain eras of his career . My personal favourite was Sheila E . 🥁💜

Nice review, I get that the fans where happy to hear unreleased tracks, but to me it's not a good album it's like a big mess, 80's and 90's tracks dont fit together (weird mix of groovy and experimental tracks), instead "The truth" could have been saled separetly as a real album... But I mean, that's just my view.

I always loved him because he did the guitar solo on Little Red Corvette. I got so pumped when I saw “The Modernaires” in Purple Rain, only to get mad at Prince for not doing a proper soundtrack album. I lived in a small town and didn’t hear the single till Napster was out and I just searched and found it.

IDK. I've read other interpretations of the lyrics, and they seem more plausible to me. To me, it will almost mean more than an ode to the extinction of the record industry. It's way deeper than that to me.

I saw this tour in 2012 in Las Angeles. I was in the beginning of a physical disability and I had horrible pain. He left and came back I think 2 or 3 times so by then almost everyone was gone and I figured there is no way he will come out again lol. So I left and as my cab pulled out I heard Diamonds and Pearls starting. Man did I kick my self for that one. Sheila E was so freaking amazing and hot as ever too. I went to see the new power generation do his memorial tour. I just love him so much. I know he was special. I mean look at those eyes. We would have gotten along so well.

Just wow. Chills. Thanks for this channel. Just found you. I always wonder what he was really like. He was an actor. And I am as well. He put his face on and became Prince. I have heard a rumor he smelled like lavender.

I take you've never bought a fragrance before but...Fragrance boxes don't tell you how it smells, it's going to list the active ingredients but not the notes. You should already know that because you're making the purchase.

Great Video Prince's Friend I Really Enjoyed Watching But I Think That You Should Definitely Revisit This Topic And Do A Part 2 Because You Still Got Songs Like Slow Love, Love And Sex, My Love Is Forever, In Love, I Wanna Be Your Lover, Kiss etc But I Think Doing All The Sad And Lonely/Break Up Songs Would Be A Good One For Next Year

Didn’t like the book one bit. None of it. Even physically it sucks. The book cover photo is ugly as hell. Some of the photos inside are dreadful. The writing is heard to read. I have over 12000 books at home and 6000 more in my office. This book is the worst and less attractive I’ve ever had. Maybe I had higher expectations. I love books. I love touching them. Their different smells different type of papers sizes etc and this one has nothing I like.

James Brown created Funk when he created The Pocket for the drums and then treated all the other instruments like they were drums. Then James placed all the emphasis on The 1. The 1 was when Funk was born. James Brown taught The 1 to Bootsy Collins. Then Bootsy taught The 1. to George Clinton. George Clinton crafted The 1 into Parliament Funkadelic or P-Funk. Then Cameo, The Ohio Players, Rick James and Prince came along and put their own unique sounds to Funk music. And now that I think about it I'm going to add Chic to the list also. Nile Rodgers changed Funk by having the drums hold rhythm and keep the timing going while the bass and rhythm guitar carried the funk parts. Then he covered those with synthesizers and dual female lead vocals. So Chic was giving you what I call The Subliminal Funk. You felt Chic's Funk more than you outright heard it. The rest is History. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. The Funk is Eternal Baby. The Funk will never die. And if you're one with The Funk then you'll live forever. ♾️

Also, the title, 'June' being the month of his birthday but, Jehovah's Witnesses don't celebrate birthdays. He apparently liked his birthday because Apollonia said he would call her every year on his birthday. She would wish him 'happy birthday' and he'd respond, "I don't celebrate birthdays.' I've known JW's quite well. I think this is his work around to celebrating his birthday; celebrating himself. I'm so glad I finally discovered this song. It's amazing and I'm obsessed.

I find this video to be interesting. I don't honestly know about Jehova Witnesses, but I highly disagree about going door to door, shoving one's beliefs down other's throats converting them to Jehova Witness. This is a country where people pick and choose their own beliefs.
