Prince Mustafa's Farewell | Magnificent Century
"COME BACK SOON FATHER" Magnificent Century Episode 123: • Magnificent Century Ep...
Suleiman falls into silence after he decides that Mustafa will be executed. Mustafa gets a call from the military camp with Suleiman's order. Hürrem gets worried about Suleiman's behaviors and understands this is the end for Mustafa. Musafa doesn't want to believe that his father will kill him. Cihangir wants his father to promise to not to kill Mustafa. Sparrowhawk and Yahya of Taşlıca plans a revold behind Mustafa's back. Sparrowhawk realizes the betrayal at the last moment and meets the death. And Mustafa walks in to the marquee.
Suleiman has made his decision!
Suleiman falls into silence of the decision he has made. Hürrem gets worried the way he behaves. Cihangir and Bayezid tries to convince Suleiman that Mustafa has been trapped. However, Suleiman has made up his mind.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

This was a heartbreacking n touching parting moment of Mustafa with mom, wife n children. Life is unpredictable, Mustafa had great respect n trust for his father, sadly king Suleiman, was caught in a bait, poisoned against his son, n he without blinking an eye put Mustafa to his death before his own very eyes. What a huge loss, losing a faithful honest n loyal son.

Even directors find him boring with his family.🤣🤣. Those few times he met with hurrem sultan were the best Mustafa scenes. Cringy with mahidevran, boring with his harem and with his council, that's why we saw his council only 2-3 times hahaha. I mean it's obvious Mustafa is older than her, so cringy.. painting her hair white doesn't change anything.

Had Mustafa rebelled we would’ve had all the might of the Janissary force behind him … he would’ve won an empire. Instead, he chose to be a true son and a man of his word. But what about his son? His wife? He condemned them to death as well, unknowingly. Mustafa’s naivety and good heart is ultimately what killed him, more than anything else.

he went not so much because of his love for his father but because he trusted him, his father and sultan gave him his word, the word of a sultan should mean something, right?

Mustafa should have rebelled when he had the chances, or let Suleiman getting killed in that war. Even the janissaries begged him to not go and to rebel. But no,Mustafa decided to play the Saint guy, which lead to his and innocent Mehmet's doom ( you're sick if you think little Mehmet deserved this).

If the executioners were told before who they were executing, they probably wouldn't have done it. You can see as soon as they come out in the tent, the shocked look of the head executioner's eyes as he sees his target is Mustafa. But by then it was too late, and the will of the Sultan had to be done.

@@blossomroses4323 I read a story that mustafa was fighting so bravely with 7 executioners that they were about to join him but then they heard ferocious voice of Suleiman from behind the veil asking them to hurry up . However it is also said those executioners were deaf and mute so this story maybe made up .

@@aira67194 That doesn't mean he wouldn't kill them, this is what the state required, if he didn't do it, his mother or advisors definitely would. Hurrem said explicitly many times that she does what she does to protect her sons from certain death just like Mahidevran. Plus it's nearly impossible to just get rid of fratricide at once, there has to be an alternative system in place which is implemented in stages. Just look at what happened as soon as Sultan Ahmed passed away, so much infighting and chaos.
