This was so fun to watch! Great video btw. I wish they showed us more backstory of vizier, more than in that cutscene at the honour and glory part. Also, in the Hall of Learning Courtyards I always find it weird to have 4 door open in the final build and now it makes sense for the doors on that balcony type thingy.

They definitely did not show enough of the Vizir, hes reasoning for wanting the sands was never really explained until the two thrones, even then it still didnt make sense how the Vizir planned to be immortal in SOT. The courtyard makes way more sense, the final build really confused me as a kid because I didnt know which open door i was meant to go into lol. But i was having some really bad frame drops during the prototype so maybe thats why they removed it.

You did a good and massive job for this video! Anyway, CGI cutscenes were worse in the final game, the characters proportions are made for 16:9. Another thing, do you know if there is some cut content for the final fight? The Vizier talks like he is about to win, but then he just stands up waiting for the fatal blow.

Yeah, that part has always bothered me. It's like the developers were planning to have a second phase of the fight but ran out of time so they just left the Vizier standing there.

CGI cutscenes was play with proper anamorphic proportions in final build if you play on consoles. They have black bars on standard TVs and fullscreen on widescreen. On PC this not work cause no widescreen displays was available at moment of game release and by some reasons devs not add black bars. Bbut now with widescreen fixes everything works as intended.

Funnily enough, its in every trilogy game. Theres a program called “ghost mode” that lets you free roam.

Whats with this weird light effect on the prince?

After using mega freeze, the prototype would leave a weird glow on the prince. it wouldn't go away unless you used mega freeze again, problem is, you can only use mega freeze in combat. Dying doesnt even fix it.

Im afraid not. It is an early build so all the polish wasn’t there. The game will lag no matter what system you have.

Only what i have shown in this videos. The unfinished cutscenes are only in the sands of time prototype and only some cutscenes were unfinished

This is hardly a prototype, mate. It looks like an alpha version/build of the game - Most features are in place but not polished, cut scenes are unfinished and so on, but story seems complete. Prototope of a game would be like one or two test maps with very basic layout, maps would be probably un-textured or very low poly. Prototype is where devs testing/prototyping features/animations/mechanics.

Any build before the final game releases is a prototype. If you check hidden palace which is where you find most pre-release builds. They are called prototypes.
