It wouldn't be fun for him to slog through them though. This Trilogy was Ubisoft at it's peak. Everything else besides the first few AC games was downhill for this company. They are in serious financial trouble right now and if their next blockbuster fails we might see the end of this once beloved company. Edit: They need to reboot this franchise with Mechner's aid. The real reason SOT is so beloved is because they consulted Mechner on a lot of the decisions made for the game and it shines through. The 4th and final entries into this franchise were not good to say the least. Combat in the 2008 reboot was excellent and flashy but too little of it, there's like +-10 fights the entire game and marketing was a bit murky as well. They made it seem like the Prince would be wielding the 4 powers acquired throughout the game but it's just tools for platforming that he borrows from the side character. The 5th and last entry really put the final nail in the coffin! Combat was bland, not tight and felt like what you'd expect from the early 2000's. Platforming was OK but story was meh. I was really excited for both of the final games but they were massive disappointments.

@@UWG3 That's true. I do really like the first 4 Assassin's Creed games but I'm far from an expert on them and wouldn't be able to give as in-depth reviews.

I played Prince of Persia sands of time , it’s a good game all tho it does need some improvements, I started playing warriors within and I was disappointed this game has a lack of puzzles solving compared to the first game , the 2nd game does have the great platforming and action from the first game but where the hell are the puzzles in the game !!!!?????? It focuses too much on action and platforming but without the puzzle solving mixed into it. Like the first game had a focus on platforming, action and puzzles solving but now it seems like the 2nd game abandons puzzle solving. This made me drop the game , like if ur going to try to improve from the first game then why drop a very fun gameplay element that might make me like this game less than the first game???? So I’m just wondering if it’s worth continuing playing the game , like does it get better , will have it puzzles later on or do I have accept this new gameplay style???

I'm not even a particularly romantic person, but I've never seen romance done better than in Sands of Time. It's an absolute classic. I love the whole series, but I don't think the sequels lived up to the quality of the story (and music) in SoT.

Seriously, I love Prince of Persia, they were part of my childhood, I'm not going to hate them just because each one was different than the other, in the end it's like this is what the sequels are like, right? They must be different And sometimes not be a fairy tale

In Sands of Time, the prince hesitates to use the dagger on the hourglass, because the last checkpoint he used shows him a vision of Farah stealing the dagger.

Interestingly, alongside the very first one, it’s the only vision that the game forces you to watch as the prince automatically enters the light pillar in a cutscene, while all the other ones are optional during gameplay.

Warrior Within is the best game out of all the PoP games till this day . they gone all out with that one and also stands out . combat , level design , time portals , incredible soundtrack .

@@dagiz0232 I remember I was dying of boredom once I was rewinding and started moving both sticks on my gamepad and I discovered that by doing circles with the left stick (or maybe just moving it) it went so much faster, so good!

Meanwhile Ubisoft struggles to Remake Sands of Time ! A 8 hour linear story driven game. I tell you if it will be on par and if it will ever see the sun rise to be as good as the OG 2003, I still do not have high hopes for a proper Warrior Within remake.

Both the 2nd and 3rd installment really only have one notable puzzle in the back half of the game, each. "The Sands of Time" definitely focused more on that side of the gameplay, whereas it's sequels went for a more cinematic style - less puzzles and more frequent platforming/combat. I would definitely continue with the Trilogy though, as all three games are classics!

@Cousinbiddy1 It's been sometime so I cannot say for sure if you will encounter any more puzzles in your remaining gameplay. But what I can tell you is to finish the game as the next game I.e. the two thrones does have puzzles.

Wouldn’t you agree? ….don’t get me wrong I love all 3 POP games but warrior within is classic (well ahead of its time).
