From what I understand they had such a passionate affair...Vanity (Denise Matthews) said Prince was the only man she ever truly loved so that says a lot. When she left, it seemed like a lot of hurt and pain was still between them. I remember her giving an interview saying if G-d wanted her to talk to Prince, Prince would be on her phone line (paraphrasing). Seems like Denise straightened up before Prince and the price of straightening up was leaving Prince behind which wasn't a price in Denise's book.I wasn't surprised when Denise died and then Prince...I think Prince stopped taking care of himself after she died. It's usually what happens to lovers.

The last few Q we've lost a lot of different kinds of musicians, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and not so long ago the legendary David Bowie and a view others I can't recall now. When I was 15 I allready was a big fan and did my music essay about him and did a lot of research about his life, up bringing, his heroes and music he loved (Santana f.e., his friends (Sheila E.) and loved ones -like his ex wife, who he had a son with that died and is hopefully with him now.
