I heard drum track from Pussy Control at the beginning. He did that a lot. Used the same beats but just layered them with different instruments. He even played his own music backwards and used that new beat/melody and put new words to it to create a new song. Very clever man he was.

He still wrote good songs though, for others. his own stuff sounds lifeless to me. I liked his last couple of records though..It's a bloody shame, I think he started landing on his feet again and his music was all the better for it imo
