Keep this in mind, Erotic City was the b side of Let's Go Crazy single! His throwaway stuff is better than most artist's best stuff. That's talent!

I hear a little of the bassline to "The Stick" in the beginning.
@atomicplaygirl666 жыл бұрын
I heard drum track from Pussy Control at the beginning. He did that a lot. Used the same beats but just layered them with different instruments. He even played his own music backwards and used that new beat/melody and put new words to it to create a new song. Very clever man he was.

@Nyasananda56 жыл бұрын
deet, I agree! The remixes of Breakfast can wait, took me back to the late 80s early 90s period when he would get groove hooked, and bang around in a songs neighborhood for daze! Lol

For me it was Diamands & Pearls that changed everything, So far I loved 99 %, after that it changed. Still, for me Prince is one of the best artist ever. Lyrics, guitar playing, recording, etc. etc.

yeah well..that's just like your opinion man. srsly..He lost the rebellion..didn't know what to do at the top..turned to a ridiculous religion. He still wrote good songs though, for others. his own stuff sounds lifeless to me. I liked his last couple of records though..It's a bloody shame, I think he started landing on his feet again and his music was all the better for it imo
