Thing is, the guy wás noticed in all his glory by many during his lifetime and even more now. Every true musician knew and knows his craftmanship, his genius and all that. His fans knew too and more people are getting to know about it today. The people who always say how underrated he was make me chuckle most of the times...the guy was hardly ever underrated, maybe only when opening for the Stones way back when, but I can't think of any other moment when true music fans didn't recognise his power, talent or whatever you want to call it. If you're into popmusic (and in this case not only popmusic) you know he's up there with the best , and in my opinion and in the opinion of so many others he's probably the best of ' em all and most probably will always be.

LIFE will not be the same without this man-this creative Power. Listen to his genius speak words of art. I started out in life as a piece of clay and was sculpted into the person I am through years of experience, changes, people, friends, parents, siblings, MUSIC, and growing up in Detroit in the 50's, 60's and 70's my environment. Prince was a part of the mold that created the sculpture of who I became. Now I feel as if the "I" has been chipped away. A sledge hammer has busted a piece from the sculpture of me--broken. Prince leaving this place on Earth has taken a part of me with him.

Another masterpiece. !! This thing called Prince, was not real, neither human. Some sort of angel sent to us from above. I hope when my day will come, I be able to finally meet him and heat him play his magic.

Oh man! Prince truly was the master of his music and in control of what he wanted, he rocked that song at rehearsal. The music world is not the same without him but I look forward hearing his jazz he was working on and those he recorded to come out his vault as well as all the other great music he wrote and recorded. God bless you Prince and thanks for sharing your gift with the world, much love and respect to you, you were the real deal no doubt about it! Miss you much..rip.

In light of the recent Grammys, it occurs to me that you can gather today's "best and brightest" in popular music and the most polished performance can't match The Revolution going through a routine soundcheck in 1984. That's what we're missing today.

Happy Birthday to the One & Only Prince. June 7 1958 gave birth to the most important songwriter & musician we will ever know. They talk about Beethoven. They talk about the Beatles. They talk about Bach & Joni Mitchell & Brian Wilson and .....well, they talk. But Prince.....he walked the walk. He talked the talk. He brought us the Most Beautiful Girl in the World. He told us Let's Go Crazy. He let us know a Dirty Mind was not a Controversy. He took all that to the top of the charts and even when the charts turned its back, my Lord did that man turn out some of the best music of his life. Prince4Ever.

For the casual PRINCE fans. PRINCE would do a sound check for 2 hours. PRINCE would come back and do the actual show for 2 more hours. After the show. PRINCE would find a club and play another two hours to wee hours in the morning. They don't come around often people. Thank God 🙏 you and I were alive to see the greatest musical superstar and performer to ever Walk the planet 🌍. #PRINCE4EVER

agree but totally opposite to how most keyboards work, usually sounds are layerd on top of each other the harder you press, e,g a light touch would give strings, a harder touch would give strings & organ, the hardest touch would give strings, organ and synth . It sounds like prince reversed that in the settings which i guess meant that it would give a you more the lighter you touch it! Probably gave interesting results for sure but backwards to what every keyboard player is used too :)
