Toyota turbo engines still proving to be reliable like the land cruiser v6 petrol turbo engine which replaced the v8.. Toyota is Toyota. When BMW went to Toyota while they're making the supra project, Toyota scrapped the BMW engine n told to start afresh. The quality was not as per Toyota benchmark. So even Toyota quality standards are industry best no doubt

I have a 2010 Innova with 2.5+ km and counting. From last 2 yrs I was experiencing some vibrations issues and asked couple of mechanics to see what the problem was they couldn't find any so they concluded that its just an old car so it was bound to happen. But recently while driving on samruddhi mahamarg my brother noticed that rear tyres were were completely worn so we quickly went to a local dealer and got new tyres and there the dealer told us to get the bushings checked. As told I did changed the bushings and all the vibration and rumbling sounds have gone and the vehicle run smooth like butter😊

@@Shajisk1313 you need to use automatic climate control - if it full capacity I.e 6 + them 12 is really good in small terrain - I went to a from from mangalore to bangalore I got 11.2 with 6 adults and 2 kid in the car and we are 70 kg average and 780 km 11.2 is really good with automatic climate control and 33psi in the tyres - the try are old it’s got just 5 k left in it

As a mechanical engineering I want to clarify that piston are not made up of diamond 😂. There is a layer of carbon coating provided on piston in order to increase the hardness of the surface so that wear will be minimum.

I just came back from a three-day trip in a hired Innova Crysta. It had run 1.75 lakh km, and its powertrain was trashy. The driver had a habit of lugging the engine at low revs, and using partial clutch more often than necessary. Every time he accelerated the car, the whole cabin rattled. The suspension was not good either. When the car cabin plays an orchestra, you don't need to play any music on the stereo. Moral: No matter how well a car is designed and built, an idiot driver can easily screw it up.

I think it's only Toyota who can achieve these milestones of covering lakhs of kms thereby providing a vfm service cost . I hv seen an Etios with 8lks kms... skoda VW even after advertising abt quality n safety can't reach to this level....I also have never seen any skoda VW with more than 2lks km on odo,...is it that owners like that so much that they keep it only in garage o they aren't capable of achieving such milestone... And the most important factor that customers looked for is reliability. It's the same reason for which Hyundai and Kia defeated vw/skoda even in America which is obviously a country with more buying capabilities. Vw are losing their market everywhere because of reliability issues.
