I am Polish and I think that this song is so impactful beacuse of its many meanings. It is of course calling and mouring by Ukrainian parents and children hurted by "men of steel" but also it is calling and mouring of every parent and child hited already by any war. We, Polish people still have in us pain of what happened to our grandparents during WW2 on our land,when we was attacked by nazis and soviets at the same time. We feel what Ukrainian people are feeling now,attacked by another "nazi" from RU. Thanks for your video and your feelings

Very good reaction! I appreciate you having subtitles ready. The melody and voices (especially the male one) convey emotions very well, but the lyrics give the full picture. Personally, I like "how can I protect you and on which side" part the most because the mood changes from "mother, save me, take me away from here" to "how can I protect you" when the singing person find out they are not a children anymore, they have to take responsibility and action on their shoulders now, because the mother is just a human being, she can't solve that horrible situation anymore, it's out of control now. And I too have goosebumps every time I listen to this song!

This song has three parts in first most important and shortest sing a child which is suffering, in second we can hear mother's voice she is continuing words of child and showing as well her suffering in third part join a man he is like a father and he is showing also anger. This is like I understand it. It is extremely sad I can not say that is beautiful it is just very sad that this is happening in Ukraine children are dying and suffering there I wish that no one has reason to sing it. Artists give the money from this song to foundation which is helping people in Ukraine. I wish that russia will not exist.
