The ex wife did some unacceptable things - nothing that the Sultan’s older children had anything to do with. Please stop insinuating things that are mere speculations. Saw this young princess briefly years ago during the Hari Raya celebrations at the palace. I think she will understand the reasons why as she gets older if the real reasons aren’t known to her yet.

Must add (now that I went back to it) that all of the Sultan’s children know what she did and they felt very insulted for their father. It caused a lot of trauma in the whole family. Her children’s “second” mother for many years now is the Sultana, who is not only their stepmother but also their relative by blood. She cares for them very well. The sultan’s other ex wife is allowed contact and is even influential on her children’s choices - what a stark contrast.
