When her cousin Prince William of Gloucester was dating a woman named Zsuzsi Starkloff in the late 60's until his death in '72 in an airplane crash, she made a special trip to Japan to see him & tell him he may as well end their relationship because he could never marry her (she was a model, divorced w/ a young child). There are several really good documentaries about Prince William & Zsuzsi here on YT. They loved each other dearly & the story is quite heartbreaking. I was disgusted w/ Anne's meddling in their relationship considering her own track record in marriage & divorce.

She considered it quite a coup to beat out the competition and "catch" Parker Bowles. When Parker-Bowles began to philander, Camilla turned to Prince Charles for comfort.
