Princess Anne learned painfully well the cost of royal titles. Her decision to try to ensure her daughters had the freedoms she didn’t have clearly drove that decision. Good on ya Anne! She was. I ran into her at the ballet not long after she married (for the first time). She was a knockout -- and had that English rose skin that is only available in that climate. I don't think she either photographed or even televised well when younger; time has been kinder -- her photographic image as an older woman is more attractive.

Nancy..I too named my sweet pet That was delivered to me just after queen Elizabeth passed..a tiny Grey kitten with huge blue eyes and beautiful ears that looked like a crown. She even had a 3 strand necklace. There was no other name for her but..lizziebeth. she's a big girl now..she is so sweet..but she knows she's a queen and she's quite smart. No other name would suit her. I hope her majesty wouldn't mind! I think Zara is such a lovely name.😊❤❤😊 .

3:07 LOL. My dog is named “Dash/Dashie” (thanks Queen Victoria, literally named my dog after hearing Princess Victoria’s dogs name when she was young.) My daughter and Zara have a connection even though they are born to very different walks of life and lineage their 15th generations back in peerage from their German ancestors, May 15th and then living their lives as what many people call wild child. But they both absolutely love their horses and animals alike. They both had higher educational experiences. They have a protective approach to the people around them. And have no signs of slowing down. They both followed a family member who had a career that was not expected to be followed by them. My daughter followed her 15th cousin and became a truck driver and mechanic. My daughter's distance cousin was Zara',s Granny. And our beloved Queen Elizabeth II ❤

I really like Zara she is the younger version of her Mum.. I would love to see her as a princess she has more than earned it and Mike is also a great guy.. Ann is the most loved princess in the Falkland Islands she has been there a few times she rode horses and was treated like an ordinary person… She could be her self out there.. my Aunt Ada was The now King Charles,s personal cook when he was out there.the Falkland islanders love the monarchy and VERY loyal.. Well, henry and his marital choice should lose all titles that confuse them about their own roles. I mistakenly thought ZARA was short for CZARINA --since the last Romanov Czarina (once called ALIX, of Hesse) was once Queen Victoria's favorite granddaughter, they say, since her mother (Alice) had died when she was only six.
