Well I’m booking my Scotland cruise because of you I wish you could go with me! I’m 72.,and this is the only thing on my bucket list. I’m so excited. The only problem is my ancestors are from Balquhidder. So I will have to figure out how to get there cause that was my plan the flight just Scotland and take the train everywhere but I like cruising and sounds this sounds doable to me. Thank you for your wonderful videos.

Brilliant vlog as always - love Scotland and yes it is the National Wallace Monument opposite Stirling castle and it's a great place to visit. It overlooks the site of the battle of Stirling Bridge. Killiecrankie is beautiful and is also the site of a Jacobite battle. This itinerary looks amazing and although we've been to Scotland loads of times, it's something we are planning to do as we'd love to visit the Irish ports and the Orkney islands. Can't wait for part 3 😊 🏴 x

At Belfast you can walk into the city from the cruise port in about 45 minutes or take a bus for about £2 each way. The bus stop is right outside the port entrance.
@TravelBlogJamie4 ай бұрын
Incorrect / you aren’t allowed to walk to the port entrance from this particular berth and from here it would be MUCH longer - you’re thinking of a berth closer to the city

When we visited Belfast on Regal we chose to do an excursion with Venture Ashore at a fraction of of the cost of a Princess excursion, we are returning to Belfast on our next Princess cruise and will use the taxi option as there are four of us. Princess wanted 36 dollars per person for the water shuttle in Toulon last week, we chose to walk into the nearby town and use the public ferry for 2 euros each. Sadly our option not an option if you have mobility problems.

Hi Jamie, this is so interesting! Thanks for a marvellous vlog. Unfortunately, I can't justify the cost of doing this trip solo as the price was approximately £2,500 when I checked, and I have Mediterranean and Carribean cruises booked already. If you know of any cheaper deals, please let me know. Your trip to Belfast and the Titanic was incredibly poignant, so I've decided to take a trip to Belfast to sample it for myself! Thank you for the information and the inspiration! 😊

Always ask that they don’t add simple syrup / sugar syrup to your drinks, avoid cocktails with fruit juice or ask for soda instead, let the maitre’d know on day one of your needs, lots of low or no sugar desserts available
