Princess Diana's most colourful acts. When AIDS was still an unknown and therefore frightening disease, Diana, visiting a hospital, shook the hand of a sick person without gloves, showing everyone that the disease is not transmitted through touch. Advocating the banning of landmines, she visited Angola where, after meeting with victims, she walked through a strip of minefield that had not been fully cleared. And on sports day at Wetherby School, where her sons attended, the Princess didn't hide behind her title and took part in a mother's race. The photo of a sleeping Diana, taken at a ball in the museum, became a real sensation. The press was outraged until it became known that Diana was already pregnant with William. In 1992, the princess visited India, where she visited a leprosarium, and again shocked the world by touching the feet of a leprosy patient.
