The lady didn’t ask to be Queen ~ was never supposed to be Queen. Events out of her control led her to be the longest reigning monarch this country’s ever likely to see ~ and probably one of the best. Volunteered and served in the Auxiliary Territorial Service in WW2. Served the nation and commonwealth as Queen for 70 years 214 days and in that time saw more than 170 prime ministers in her realms come and go. Outlasted 5 Popes and 14 US Presidents. More than fulfilled her promise to serve the nation’s best interests ~ and had a wicked sense of humour. She is greatly missed.

I absolutely loved QEII - doesnt matter what others think - this Aussie thinks she was a stand out, brilliant lady with a wicked sense of humour and a massive love of horses - she was responsible for saving a breed of horse I love and have one of the stallion she bought that helped, great grandsons, he is my stallion and last horse left for me. ​@nadejenks I'm an American and have never liked the King or Camilla. How he treated Princess Diana is a big reason for most of us. I remember when she passed and everything that came with it. I've always been interested in the Royal family,Her Majesty was absolutely one of a kind, not only the way she carried out her duties, but the heard work she put in for everything to go smoothly. Very classy and never faltered. She was extremely kind to Megan and did so much for Harry. Megan was never going to fall in line and be a royal. Sadly the way his grandparents were treated is absolutely disgusting. I knew William would marry Catherine, I'm extremely proud of who they've become. I think William will do Her Majesty proud. I think Americans the the royals differently because we don't have a head of state ( King/Queen)

She was Queen when I was born. I am 62 years old. JFK was shot while I was in a highchair. I am American, but Scot, Welsh, and Irish by heritage. I loved her with all my ❤. She was an inspiration. God bless the Queen.

In all that time, with all those public engagements and all the people she met she always said the right thing and made people feel at ease. There must have been numerous times she was tired, sick or bored, but she never showed it. She will be sorely missed.
