Princess Kate Wished Better by Eight-Year-Old Cancer Survivor

Princess Kate helped little Mila Sneddon through her cancer journey, now Mila has wished Kate all the best, after the princess revealed she had cancer last week.
Mila Sneddon was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukaemia when she was just four years old. A photo of Mila and her dad shows the two separated during a Covid-19 lockdown in 2020, while Mila was shielding from the virus.
The photo was a finalist in Kate’s inspirational ‘Hold Still’ community photo project with the National Portrait Gallery. The project invited amateur photographers to submit photos about resilience, heroism and hardship during the pandemic.
Since then Kate and Mila met several times, as Mila continued her fight against leukaemia. Mila finally won her battle against the disease in 2022.
Earlier this week the Princess of Wales publicly announced her cancer diagnosis.
Responding to the news on X, Mila’s family said Mila was really sad to hear the news about Kate. But they all extended their ‘love, support and well wishes’ to the princess and her family. Mila will also reach out to Kate privately, to give her support to the Princess ‘in her own way’.

I was thinking the same. Tears of love and sincerity. I truly hope little Mila continues her journey in life with her cancer always in recession so she never has to stand there again to ring that bell. I can imagine that her private message to Princess Catherine will be an incredible source of hope and inspiration for Catherine and I also believe that Mila's story can help George, Charlotte and especially Louis, understand that you can be sick with Cancer, you might look different some times, you might lose your hair, but it will grow back, and most importantly, that smiling and twirling around a lounge room having cuddles, will help their mommy get better just like it did with Mila. ❤ 🇦🇺 Aussie here too

Thankyou so much, unfortunately the drs tell me it is terminal,, and originally only gave me 6months it is now 14 months and I am still here. I know the courage and strength it took Catherine to tell her family and to process the situation herself I could never have done it publicly. I hope with all my heart to be here to see this great lady crowned our queen, but in saying that I do not wish our amazing king Charles any harm please understand this thankyou again you are real human beings your empathy and decency shows through may you all have happiness and health to you and your families

I urge all governments in all countries to put up their own hospitals, hire doctors, nurses and necessary staffs and make cancer and other pricey treatments free. And have them research for cures to all... With the science division? And technological division...?
