princess leonor on her first day of military training

Her Royal Highness the Princess of Asturias has joined the Naval Military School of Marin as a first-year Midshipman to join the 2024/2025 academic year.
The Princess of Asturias has entered the Military Naval School of Marín as part of her military naval training included in Royal Decree 173/2023, together with the rest of the ladies and gentlemen students, except for those who have recently joined, who traditionally join in mid-August.
Upon her arrival at the Naval Academy, Doña Leonor was received by the Commander-Director of the School, and began her activity on board as a first-class Midshipman. Her naval training will include an initial period at the Naval Military School until Christmas. It will continue with boarding the Training Ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano to undertake the 17th Training Cruise, and will be completed with a period of practice in units of the Fleet.
