Almost 24 years later and Princess Mononoke is still one of my favorite Studio Ghibli film

For me it's not even a contest. This movie is the goat. Akira is close second.

Just the way Gillian Anderson talks about Miyazaki’s films clearly shows she adores his work and is a huge fan. She must’ve really geeked out when she got asked to be involved in this amazing film.

It's not surprising that she decided to work on another Studio Gibli movie dub.

Loved hearing Billy Crudup talk about his time voicing Ashitaka!! He looks so handsome here! The way he said "Step aside" in the movie was Soo cool and memorable! I just finished watching Princess Mononoke two and a half hours ago on March 29, 2022 and it was Such a beautiful movie with gorgeous forest scenery! So lush green!! I am amazed to see this video from the Princess Mononoke premier in 1999!!!

Gillian Anderson clearly is a fan of Miyazaki’s work. The way she talks about him and his films is evidence enough that she adores them.

Billy Bob Thornton doesn't talk about working this dub or movie much at all it's not even on his Wikipedia or any other websites for that matter this is considered probably the Third Best animated movie of ALL TIME behind Spirited Away Then the Lion King after that it's probably Princess Mononoke... I just don't understand he doesn't credit himself with working with this movie

He's a very humble actor.

1:07 haha it's kinda funny how the interviewer automatically assumes this movie is for kids.. Not quite hun, maybe you should give it a watch first. This interviewer also seems only interested with the idea that they're standing in an audio booth - she can't seem to grasp anything the film is about.
