Where is it ever shown that Daisy has an actual functioning army?? She literally got kidnapped by Tatanga the first time she ever appeared. Here are the reasons why she doesn't get kidnapped: 1- Miyamoto does not care about her much because she was not made by him, so she's never in main games. 2-Bowser's not interested in capturing Daisy. The only time he ever captured her was in Super Mario Run, that mobile game, and that was probably just "because". Princess Peach is also strong, but if she just fought Bowser there would be no Mario rescuing Peach, so Miyamoto just keeps making her get kidnapped in stupid ways because it's simple.

I think it’s due to being an Empress, what with her command over multiple kingdoms it’s a much larger Army composition than Mushroom kingdom’s. Not that Mushroom kingdom shouldn’t have a competent military. It’s just not up to snuff against the industrialized military that Bowser is mobilizing to yoink her to attempt an annexation. Likely he wants to ensure the new lands don’t immediately rebel and just get used to him being in power. It’s why he puts his face everywhere, and tries to avoid provoking the commoners too much. He sends his forces out to bully people who don’t fall in line, but otherwise, most people don’t seem to notice much of a difference while Peach is away. Which says a lot about how her admin picks up slack while she’s away. Additionally, depending on Geography, Sarasaland might not have incursions due to the fact that Mushroom kingdom is the bulwark against Bowser. So while Daisy might like Peach and be friends with her, she might also have a vested interest in keeping a majority of her forces in Reserve. What with the Mario Bros keeping Bowser pinned, a two man army, and ensuring Mushroom kingdom’s survival, she also might not see a point in pushing her luck.

@@mapleflag6518 And that’s going up against: An Airborne, mobile army with what amounts to tons of heavy cannon, armor (Turtle shells to actual metal), fire at range, and several forms of troopa/goomba that can overwhelm said Toads, with very few exceptional Toads who can keep them at bay. Like Captain Toad, Toadette, and maybe the Toad that adventures with the Bros. Peach needs to improve their weapons budget, because while their Medical and infrastructure is pretty good; their war gear is clearly the weak link against Bowser’s force.

Daisy is the cute tomboy of the Mario franchise, so anyone picking a fight with her kingdom results in their ass getting yeeted into the sky. The only reason the aliens bothered to try is because they didn't know about Daisy's strength, or they were able to hard-counter it. Honestly, I'd feel everything came full circle if Daisy got kidnapped by ghosts, and Luigi went to save her. Then we get a cute moment with Daisy fawning over Luigi before she accidentally snaps his spine, and nurses him back to health as an apology, and Luigi comes to like her unique cuisine. It'd also be a cute idea for Daisy to rescue Luigi as a Super Princess Daisy game, a sort of sequel to Super Princess Peach, but Luigi gets kidnapped on his way back from a diplomacy mission to Sarasaland, which provokes Daisy to save Luigi specifically, and we get a cute ending credits scene where Daisy carries Luigi in a princess carry back to the Mushroom Kingdom, and all because Luigi ended up with a cast on his leg and cannot walk under his own power.

Princess Daisy was originally in Super Mario Land for Gameboy. She ruled Sarasaland, which is a desert kingdom separate from the Mushroom Kingdom, but an ally of the Mushroom Kingdom. Daisy got featured in other Mario games, including Mario Kart titles, and the numerous Mario sports titles. Waluigi though is pretty much Wario's doubles partner. Like the Beavis to Wario's Butt-head. But they're both selfish, evil, and incompetent. Which are the opposite of Mario and Luigi, whom are heroic, selfless, and competent. Daisy got more light on her, though she's now pretty much an Echo Fighter, similar to Peach, but different enough. Waluigi though remains an Assist Trophy. Mainly because the most he has is memes and he's just Wario's doubles partner.

Thing is Mario also was the one who saved Daisy. Yes it was 20 minutes, as implied, and Bowser did try the "alien thing" in Galaxy (albeit poorly executed). If Peach just did what Daisy did and smacked Bowser into space, she'd be fine. Or better yet become Rosalina's roommate. Just get a transfer of kingdoms via space station and make it as covert as possible to not let the Koopa King know what's happening. The only issue is he has eyes everywhere. And who knows if he has Koopas that are undercover disguised as Mushroom Kingdom-ites to know where she is at all times. I mean, Peach's security is so garbage, she gets captured VERY often. And the Mario Bros are fantastic rescuers, but if we want to bring the Super Princess Peach game into question, even they got captured before. So the solution would be to go full covert ops training for the toads and actually arm them AND make it so they don't wee their little diapers at the first sight of a Goomba or a paratroopa. Give them proper boot camp skills and arm the fungal fighters to the teeth. Give Peach a stronger royal guard (that isn't going to be comically overweight like Nintendo likes to make fun with like the tubby Toad from TTYD on the train(super specific I know)) and BEEF those boys up. Bowser is a big fire-breathing Godzilla turtle able to use black Koopa magic (SMB1) and can bulldoze just about any structure. Steel and concrete reinforcement on her castle will do better than her brick-and-mortar way of living. Add some hefty doors and anti-air weaponry around the castle and a deep and big enough water moat to the castle(yes bigger than even the Mario64 moat) to add as much protection as possible. In the meantime, calculate times of which she can be in a public appearance and ensure nobody can compromise the event and just swoop in and kidnap her when they think she's vulnerable. Bowser has Magikoopas, so make Magi-Toads. Train those guys in the way of the art of magic that cam counteract those shelled shrilly shreakers. If they are capable of entering her dreams (because let's be real, it's the Mario world we're talking about we had Dream Team) keep Toads on shift with smelling salts nearby to wake her whenever she seems to be encountering some sort of "dream sequence" from the Green Gobler.
