@@chizaramazike-ti9cj Goku, as a baby, hit his head in Dragon Ball, so he forgot his mission as a Saiyan. And he grew up in the mountains, completely ignorant of the outside world, going as far as to ignorantly sexually harrass Bulma and Chichi, and even thinking that marriage is a food. Gohan, at the time, is a pacifist, but I think TFS best describe that Gohan wants to spend time with his father who spend half his childhood fighting, and the other half dead, sometimes both. To Goku, fighting makes him happy, and he assumed that would make Gohan happy as well, but that is not the case. Dragon Ball Super made Goku even more naive than usual, nit knowing what kissing is, and made a grave mistake creating the Tournament of Power, basically putting the fate of Universe 7 on the line, along with other universes. Dragon Ball lore is wierd, judging Xenocerse correctly.
