I absolutely love the content of this book. The only drawback was the AI voice. I would be more than willing to be the narrator if that would be possible.

I'm happy to decide hear the Principales of Ray Dalio. I don't live in USA so for me is learning more of the American market and the Global reactions. What to see at a difficult time and be an observer of the history to be capable to see the clues to get ahead. Great lessons and information!

I think the author do not understand what kind of challenges women often face. At least women with tech degrees have different type of problems here in Finland. Like you can be very good at your work but then you have supervisors who do not like it and focus on destroying you. And, many layers of them and as they have all the power, they do. You can do nothing to stop them. If you take issues up, it just gets worse. So, the better you work, the more your supervisors will harm you all the possible ways. So, it you have studied tech, let's say you have MSc which is rather long and technical focused so it is not easy to move to other disciplines. But then the entire tech area is highly misogynic, supervisors ask for sex from female subordinates, supervisors use all the ways to prevent you from doing work like not giving any, lot of exclusion, change guidance all the time, you need to discuss your minor work role for years and 50 times, lot of inappropriate comments, very unfair work evaluations etc. The supervisors don't care if even big customer projects fail because of this, if you save them they punish you. Many women have serious mental problems for eduring this since they strarted working after graduation from university. Some leave the industry but then it is often for low paying work. We have very bad laws, it is easy for supervisors to destroy your career like this. So the better you are at your work and harder you work, the more vile they become. Especially the biggest companies here don't care. They just say it is legal. The top execs have lot of political power and have driven for the bad laws we have for decades. They are also in the boards of the biggest media companies and they don't report about these issues, they just say these are eternal problems. Some of the top execs are women but they studied sometimes economics but often HR, legal etc and these companies only advance women that support these misogynic policies against us, so they don't care. They just create rules that prohibit women to tell about these experiences and tout the company's high ethics, equal opportunity etc.

This is a harsh reality...But you missed the point..It is unfortunate those events occure everyday. But this book is about selfhelp,understanding the market and better mindset.
@annasillanpaa11112 жыл бұрын
@@gamerdogkawaii6666 Of course I understand that. It is just that no one speaks about the real problems. At least not here. With that the self help, mentoring etc is rather useless.
