This is honestly how it was. I was standing in line waiting to get my copy of doom, and I’m just an average looking dude. I’ve seen many things about this and I’ve made an actual reason for this meme. People who have a lot of peace in their life might want to have some fun chaos, like Isabelle. Doom Guy has had nearly his entire life filled with demon slaying and hellscapes, so animal crossing would be a nice way to relax. For me it actually would make sense that Doom Guy is buying Animal Crossing, and Isabelle buying Doom. Video Games are supposed to be fun and to do thing, you can't normally do in real life. In Doom, you kill masses of hell-spawn and let out your agressions, while in Animal Crossing you live in a peaceful town and can calm down as you play. Doom Guy is killing demons on a daily basis, while Isabelle in one of the inhabitants of the Animal Town. They live their own game. And like I said, video games let you do something different.
