About how long would you estimate this took? I'm setting aside a whole day to put mine on when it gets here in the next week or two. Hopefully I can get it on in less than 3-4 horus, but I suspect it will take me longer with all the breaks, swearing, and crying I'd be doing before it's all said and done.

Yeah plan on a full day. Some customers get it done in 4-5 hours and others it takes an hour or two longer. If you need any help give our customer service team a call and they would be glad to help!

@@sgheavymetal it ultimately took me most of a day with breaks and review of instructions. The plus nuts are the biggest pain in the ass. Getting a rivet nut expansion tool thingy will save you so much time.

what sealant did they use?

How do you prevent the plushnuts from spinning when you are tightening them?

first we recommend making sure they are installed correctly. Then you need to be careful to no over-torque the bolt during installation. These two steps will really help to make sure there are not any problems.

Ok, got my rack for the 2nd hen Crosstrek, but the number of parts supplied doesn’t make the instructions. I got 10 large washers, 6 smaller washers, and no lock washers in my mounting hardware bag in spite of there being 12 mounting holes…
