I'm just going to wait for the Centauri Max. After the whole "Neptune 4 is it, we won't make a larger version....except now we are" thing, there's no way I'm buying the baby first version on release. Now it's just a race between the Centauri Max and Bambu finally realising that people want more than a 256mm build plate.

This will need to be at least $100 cheaper than Bambu's enclosed P1S ($599 @ 256x256x256) and Qidi's Plus4 ($799 @ 305x305x280. There are too many competitive alternatives for simple PLA core-xy builds. Qidi and Bambu have that market locked down at the moment.

A lot of focus on PLA. How well does it actually print anything else? The one slide that showed one ABS print doesn't really tell us if this printer is actually capable of a larger ABS prints. Can it print Nylon, PC, PC-blends, PCTG, PET, etc?

Of course it can. Some materials may need a hardend steel nozzle. Maybe it comes with the printer. Also the centauri carbon has a heated chamber what makes printing ABS or Nylon quite easy

That's not true at all! I bet people that bought Bambu Lab P1S, Creality K1, QIDI xPlus-3... are in fact printing PLA most of the time 🤷‍♂ Enclosed printers offer great control for every material - even PLA.

A bit late to the game for me. Was going to buy a Neptune 4 this past spring but I then realized a coreXY printer would be better. Ended up buying a Flashforge Adventurer 5M. Still love your filament though.

Only promises at this point, and given the track record on release time, it isn't looking great. Vaporware for the win! This or a Bambu Lab that you can actually print now, vs this that you can't. I'm a big fan, but can't commit off of empty promises.
