Thank you for the preview Reza! Does this function support a direct printing experience without opening a dialog box? Been waiting for a feature like this for warehouse label printing, but currently we had to switch a Power Automate Flow through PrintNode and print RAW data (ZPL) for a Zebra label printer but the benefit was that it allowed for a direct printing action on the OnSelect of a button trigger to this flow. Thanks for this great video. any ideas why there is a margin appearing on the right when using the print function? I'm trying this for forms but when the print preview is shown, there is always a margin appearing on the right, though on my app the form is already stretched to the sides of the screen. also when not in preview mode, when I try to use the actual app, the said margin is even bigger :(

Thanks, Great Tutorial. I like the idea of dynamically resizing the screen so more data can be shown on an A4 page. However, I'm having problems getting it to work when the App is running. I can get to work exactly as per your video when in the Preview mode, but if I load the app directly as a user would, the screen size doesn't dynamically change I just get the standard App sized section at the top of the page. Are other people having this problem? or is there something I'm doing wrong that would make it work in Preview, but not work in the Published App? (FYI This is not a scrollable screen - as I know the Print function doesn't work for them.)

I have not. Keep in mind that print() currently only supports single page print. So nested galleries would surely go past the single page height scenario.

Can you share your display settings for this app? It works when editing in the Power Apps Platform solution works. When I publish I think maybe lock aspect ratio or another display setting is overriding the formulas.
@radiosonicfan17262 жыл бұрын
I just tested. Turning off scale to fit and lock aspect ratio solves problem in published app. These two settings when turned on undermine gallery height when printing. There is some conflict.
@radiosonicfan17262 жыл бұрын
My solution to avoid conflict with aspect ratio problem was to create an exclusive print screen. Click icon, navigate to a special print screen (load gallery from previous page): screen height: If(Self.Printing, 2200, 2200), and gallery height: 2150. Then add a back button to print screen. Wish Microsoft could address these odd situations where settings conflict against formulas.

Hi Reza, 1. Is there a way to set the number of copies to be printed from within the document library(if we have to track the number of copies printed or issued for a particular document, instead of setting it in print screen) 2. also ,on a printed copy can we have details like copy number and to whom the copy must be issued 3.also,can we add names of reviewers at bottom (for getting the document signed by each)
@RezaDorrani2 жыл бұрын
1 - I don’t believe there is a way to track number of copies printed from SharePoint only. If using print from Power Apps, every time button is clicked, you could update counter in a data source to keep a track. 2 - printed copy details are same as what you see on App screen. So you would need to put those details on screen. 3 - Possible - would need to be added to screen. What you are trying (based on your questions) looks more like a document review and signature process which is not what print is designed for. You may want to look at 3rd party solutions like Adobe etc.
@mishelwilliam51122 жыл бұрын
