The printer was a bit complicated to hook up kzbin.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 but it does the job very efficiently. I like the ink wells versus the ink cartages that cost an arm and a leg. It prints quickly and the quality is excellent. It shuts off when not in use, so you have to remember to turn it on. Overall, it exceeds my expectations. I'll update my review in a couple of months.

I've found the cost of DTG printers run from 3k - 15K+ depending on how big an industry you want to set up. Like anything keep in mind that this is an investment and no business that requires technology will be cheap.

It looks cool and that's about it. The manufacturing time and cost does not work well with generating a profit. I was actually pretty surprised at how slow the machine printed. When it first appeared on screen, I expected it to fly back and forth and throw down the ink in seconds. But damn did it take TIME to put down that white base coat. They didn't even show us the second pass. If the commenter was right about it being $17,000, in order to pay this thing off by itself, I would need to sell 71 shirts a month at $20 and make zero profit. If I estimated around 5 minutes of print time, the machine would run for almost 6 hours a month just to pay itself off, not including ink and electric costs. I'll pass.

When it came to pricing he didn't really go into the price of the machine. Instead, he gave a vague scenario of someone making 50 shirts per month selling at a $10 dollar profit. There are a lot of variables here that one needs to understand before they commit to buying one of these awesome printers just because they print so amazing. First of all, if you're not an image designer, or printing shirts and selling right now then buying this printer isn't going to do anything for you. You also have to consider marketing on how to sell your shirts. So buying this bad boy is only part of many more investments that you'll have to make just to sell a shirt.

peterlabrie it will not work for an overall print. That can only be achieved by sublimation on 100% white polyester fabric. Poly/cotton blends will not work well.

Best printer on the market. We started with 1 freejet dtg in 2008 and we currently have 10 in production and growing yearly. On demand printing and fulfillment has grown tremendously in the past few years and only getting larger. I would recommend getting in the game vs standing on the side-lines.

Hopefully the technology has caught up... when I owned my DTG business in 2006-2013 my machines (DTG Digital) had a bulk ink system. It was no ideal due to evaporation and settling. The filtered ink and closed bag system from Belquette on my MOD1 was far superior but also required to be agitated to keep from settling and clogging the print head. The best choice turned out to be the tried and true cartridge system that could be shaken to agitate. Hopefully the ink has made some changes over the year which makes a bulk ink option for DTG worthwhile, because the cost of wasted ink from clearing print head clogs and replacing print heads out-weigh the cost of sealed ink.

Diane - CountryHut, get a wagner paint sprayer. It's just as effective and you can control the area's you want to imprint on. Some pretreatment machines spray the whole shirt, big waste when all you want is the top chest.

$17k for the Freejet 330 and $23k for the Freejet 330tx plus which is one of the only DTG machines that does a very good job on polyester garments. Also will be a good pre treatment machine like the Pearl PTM which will cost about $3k and at least $700 for a decent 16x20 heat press.

The free jet machine still requires the extra labor of pretreatment of the shirt... try visiting Kornit Digital, since they are the only ones in the industry that has an inter grated, one-step process.

gotshirts2ink, I would say so. Pretreatment is like a watered down glue that once pressed makes the shirt flat with a slightly sticky feel so the white ink will adhere to it better.

@@dmalikification DON'T DO IT! From the onset, August 2018, I had severe issues with the machine, that were never fully resolved by tech support. I replaced the motherboard and ran various maintenance and repairs to no avail. Omniprint's customer support is incredibly awful. I did not come too much out of pocket because I fought but the burden of parts, shipping and/or freight tends to fall on the customer. I believe they had the potential for an exceptional machine but never worked out the kinks. If you were to view the invite only group on Facebook you would see the dozens, if not hundreds, of requests for help with technical issues. The answers are straight out of a book and very generic. They make you feel like a stupid business owner that just has to "adapt and learn past the curve" as with "any machine", however I know and have met others with other machines such as Epson and Ricoh who have never experienced the types of issues I've witnessed and heard from others about Omniprint. I'm only scratching the surface with this reply. Feel free to hit me if you want to hear more specifics.

15 minutes I think , even if you only make £20 a shirt it's £80 a hour £40 for you £40 for the business, ink , loan for the printer tee shirts advertising so on so on , not a bad wage like , plus you can work what ever hours you want
