...and if these steps don't resolve your issue, you can always try spiking it into the nearest dumpster, where the (expletives deleted) thing belongs. :) Mine (HP Deskjet 1110, maybe a year old) was spitting out white pages but making printing sounds. I fussed with it for about a half-hour; eventually the color started working but the black was still missing. The moral of the story is: if you only print occasionally, don't buy an inkjet printer because it will dry shut. As an added bonus, you won't have any idea that it's happened until the next time you need the printer.

Saaaaaaame...I have an HP Deskjet 1510. Worked fine for awhile, but now that I have a new computer, for some reason it refuses to print. Makes printer sounds, is all connected, nothing is jammed, clogged, or low in ink. All I get is blank pages, and nothing on any support pages is helping... It will be lucky if it gets the dumpster, because I'm about to just chuck it out the window and into the woods to rot.

what if my printer only prints ONE blank page before each document? the toner seems fine. printing is fine. just how to get rid of the blank page in beginning of each printrun. there is no blanks in my documents!

mine is printing a perfect half page. I had to delete the printer from every source and reinstall. It printed a whole page and then started with the half page again. Need a new one, I guess

mine prints a partial page, skips it, shoots blanks, then prints 1 or 2 pages properly, and then the next run will either work fully or some pages will get skipped (not even shoot blanks). so annoying. plus we already struggle to get the printer to suck up the paper (after doing 100 glossy sticker sheets, the roller seems to be buffered and cant pick up anything regularly). i've done all the maintenance, it still does this. i clean heads regularly and tray and all the cleaning options.

Really my desktop prints just fine to tour epson echo tank ink jet but whenm i go to print from my mom witch is int he sanme room as the printer and the router and supplyed interneyt is just in the ajoining room like i said mine print just fine but just spopits pages out when my mom prints there are no ink cartreges peray and the print nozzle switch are on the cartreges ore actually combines with the peint head a nd nozzle the only way to clean this printer ias with amonia rubbing alchoile does not cut it if you get ink on your hand good luck have to let it wear off lauquer thinner donrt do it either the big prob lem wit hthese echo tanks is the the noxxle heads thing bcequse they are not on a carteage they tendt to dry up after a week or fewew days unless you use it to print pictures or decals just about every day so theyt 2ont clog. its a real; pain in the but.

When they print blank pages you have to throw it in the trash dumpster. Also, Epson is the worst printer that is made. They only run for about 2 weeks before the printhead burns up. Epson is also being sued.

take out ink cartridges and clean the ink outlet lightly with a fine brush, (i use the small brushes you use to clean betwen your teeth) dipped in cellulose thinners, let it dry, put back in printer and try again, it works for me and saves dumping an expensive ink cartridge that still has a lot of ink in it.

Time to retire. Got an entire new one (from ebay) worked once (printed from PC color to printer) and then stopped. At least it still scans!!!

None of these methods work if you have a CLOGGED nozzle. Like he said if you use the method that is suggested by the manufacturer and this video it will use ALLOT of your expensive ink and the nozzles will still be clogged. lets use logic here. Ink doesnt clean or unclog anything.

If the nozzle clean function - on the printer itself - produces a sheet of paper with color bars and letters to one side then the nozzle isn't blocked. It's printing. If the printer throws out blank pages when I click print then the computer is communicating with the printer so it's not likely to be a software or connectivity issue. Ditto if I can scan a document and save it to my PC. It doesn't print, it doesn't copy. That's it. Within an hour and $50 I can have a new printer. If it takes "10 or 15 times" cleaning, you might spend that much on wasted ink.
