It states that for EU customers, we are required by law to allow for a 14 day return or so. Do we just not sell to EU customers if we are in the print on Deamnd business? what is your advice? I don't get why we can't just assign the fulfillment center and brand to regions/countries to save shipping costs. For example, if I get a t-shirt order from US, I want Printify to use Monster Digital and Next Level 3600 brand. If I get order from Europe, I want Printify to use OPT onDemand in Czech Republic using SG Clothing SGTEE. Shipping cost is a killer and we need to automate this by letting owners decides the fulfillment centers.

You are the best at explaining things. One question I have is if you can change your settings per item instead of your whole shop. I'm very new to POD, and so far I have them on Manual. I do have a few personalized items. What would you recommend for order routing in Customized items? And for non-custom items? Thanks!

Hi! On Printify you cannot have different fulfillment settings by product currently. If you sell personalized products, you have two choices: 1. Set your order fulfillment to manual - you'll have to manually submit all orders including non-personalized products. This can be a bit much if you don't have a lot of personalized listings. 2. Set your order fulfillment to automatic (any of the automatic options). For your personalized product listings on Etsy, alter the product SKU numbers (or delete them) so they won't sync to Printify. This will push orders for personalized products to your "Other Orders" tab on Printify, allowing you to manually import the orders and edit the design before submitting them, while all your non-personalized products are still automatically being submitted. *HOWEVER* There is one caveat to #2 to be aware of. If a customer purchases a non-personalized product along with a personalized product in the same order, the non-personalized product will sync to Printify and go into production, while the personalized product won't show up on the Other Orders tab (only in this scenario). This is just how Printify works in that situation unfortunately. So the safest way is to do manual order submission for everything - at least until Printify offers some option specific to personalized products - which I hope they do at some point!

New subscriber. Loved your videos and apologize for what might seem like such a couple of dumb questions. Under "My Account" section, it asks for name of business, full name and address information then it says that will appear on invoices. That doesn't mean they will put my information on customers invoices does it ? Also below that it says "+ Use a different address for receiving product samples". We're not sure what addresses to put where. Thanks.

Hi! The contact information on the "my account" section is referencing your order invoices that are just for your records, not the return address on customer orders. For the setting that does impact customer orders, you would go to the "ship from address" tab in the Store Settings section. The default is to use the return address of the print provider, but you can add your own custom business address if you have one. The different address for product samples is only necessary if you need sample orders shipped to a different address than what you entered for the main/business address. For my account, I have my home address as the business address and I do not have a separate address for sample orders.

Thanks for your video - I have added a custom address as the settings were not updating when I selected GB (I only ship to UK and am based in UK) would welcome any ideas as my entire Etsy store has been 'deactivated' as there is shipping information missing but can't see what info they are referring to - any helps would be hugely helpful

Hi! It's unfortunately common for newer Etsy shops to get deactivated for no apparent reason. But if you contact Etsy support and let them know the situation they usually re-activate your account within a couple of days. You can ask them to indicate any specific things that need to be addressed in your message. Normally they just respond saying your shop is re-activated because there was no real reason for it being deactivated.

I would like to know why, if the customer buys a product with the shipping cost included, why does Printify charge the shipping cost to me as well? It is basically a double payment for the shipping cost. Yesterday a client from France bought me a mug for a cost of $9 plus shipping cost a total of $29.95, when I check "Orders" in printify I see that they are charging me $25!!, If the client paid for that shipping cost, Why do I have to do it too???

Hey there! Thanks for the video! Do you offer the 35$ Free Shipping Guarantee in your shop? I do and I'm struggling with that. When I offer a 15% discount on my items, then once people order 2 things (above 35$) and get free shipping I make hardly any profits, considering 6.5% Etsy fees as well, and the 10$ shipping I have to pay. And if I price my items even higher I end up way more expensive than the others. Considering I'm a new shop trying to grow this is tough! What do you suggest?

Hi! I do have the free shipping guarantee active in my shop. There are a few options you have to plan your pricing around the free shipping guarantee. 1. Do more free shipping on your listings where possible. You can leave the free shipping guarantee active to get the bump from Etsy, but then just build your shipping costs into the prices of your products and offer free shipping. This way you're always collecting what you need to cover shipping for each product and you can plan sales/coupons more accurately. 2. For products where you can't offer free shipping because the product price would be too high to be competitive, plan your pricing & shipping charge based on quantity. For example, I sell mugs at $13.99 + $3.50 shipping and my cost to fulfill one mug is $8.55 (district photo). I set that price because 2 mugs will come out under $35 and they'll still pay for shipping, but 3 mugs will be over $35. The profit margin for 3 mugs is high enough that it doesn't matter, so this is fine. To figure this out, I used an Etsy fee calculator and just played around with the pricing until it worked out this way. 3. For more expensive items like sweatshirts/hoodies - I honestly just recommend doing the free shipping option because they're getting so expensive that just one is over $35 retail for one of the larger sizes anyway. 4. If you plan to run sales frequently, you can consider increasing your product prices so the price on sale is closer to what you want to get for your profit. 5. You can differentiate sales by product types if needed - for example if one type of product is too tight to do 15%, you can do that one at 10% off instead. If you use shop sections by product you can add products to the sale by section to make it easier. Ultimately if you run into the issue of product combinations causing a problem too frequently, you may need to consider turning off the free shipping guarantee. My understanding is that it doesn't give you a huge search ranking boost so it shouldn't have a big negative impact. I'm generally of the mind that "every bit helps" so I like to leave it on as long as I can price things to work out most of the time. I hope that helps!

Hi! There is no limit to how many listings you can create. Just remember that each listing costs $0.20 to list, so for every 100 listings you create it will cost you $20. As long as you're aware of that, you can create as many listings as you want to. In general, I do recommend creating a relatively high volume of listings, however I don't recommend creating a really high volume of listings in a single niche until you know it's going to make some sales for you. For example, if you create 10 listings within one niche and a couple start to sell, go ahead and make more designs in that niche. But if they never sell, it's possible that niche doesn't have the demand or that there was too much competition so it wouldn't have been worth it to create dozens of listings. I hope that helps!

Hi! Existing Etsy listings will not sync with your Printify account automatically. There are two ways to establish automation of existing listings with Printify: 1. You can create the product in your Printify account and then copy & paste SKU numbers for each product variation into the Etsy listing. After doing that, orders for each product will sync to Printify because they will match the SKU of a product in your Printify account. 2. If you don't do option #1, orders for your existing products will go to your "other orders" tab in your Printify account, where you can manually import them and then establish future automation. However, you still have to create the product in your Printify account first because you need to select a print provider for fulfillment and set your design placement, etc.

Hi! To get the order processed you can check the "Other Orders" tab on Printify. If your account is connected to your Etsy shop, orders that don't automatically sync to a Printify product should appear there. If the order is there, you can manually import it and select a product to get it submitted. If the order is not on the "Other Orders" tab, then you may need to disconnect and re-connect your accounts. In the meantime you can create a manual order on Printify to get the order processed.

Love all your content , I have 100 products and im showing out of stock for all MEDIUM AND LARGE shirts from all 4 of my print providers did I miss a step or something? What can I do ? Is there an option to go back and select to have all sizes including medium and large shirts . Or do I need to go back and add a new print provider that has medium and large in stock ? It’s confusing because they all of my print providers show they have all sizes available? Hi! I'm assuming they are showing as out of stock on your Etsy listings but not in your Printify account if I'm reading your question correctly. You have two choices to update your Etsy listings to show those sizes as in stock/available. 1. Update all listings manually. This is not the best option when you have a lot of listings but for smaller numbers you can simply go into the Etsy listing and change the visibility and/or quantity of the variants. 2. You can re-publish the stock status of multiple listings from your Printify account on the My Products page. I explain both of these options in my video about updating stock status: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5_GnZaAadNrbpo I also explain the publishing settings in Printify in that video because you have the option to publish your listings with all variants showing in stock or only what is available at the time that you published them. If the problem is that your Printify listings are showing out of stock, that is likely a temporary thing. I would only recommend updating your stock status on your Etsy listings if there are no other print provider available with those products. Otherwise, out of stock products (especially t-shirts) usually become available again within a few days.

Yes, you can edit your store settings any time. You can change your order approval setting as needed, and any change you make will apply to new orders that are received after you've saved the changes.

Hi! On Printify there is a 1:1 relationship for store to sales channel. With the free account, you can have up to 5 stores but each store can only be connected to one sales channel. However, you can use an additional store on Printify to connect to your other sales channel and then copy over all the products (you can do this all at once) and set it up exactly the same as your other store - so essentially you just need to duplicate your settings for the store synced to your second sales channel. When you create new products, you can also copy them individually to your other store and publish to the other channel. You will still have two separate Orders pages to manage, but that's actually a good thing because some features that are available for example through the Shopify sales channel are not available through Etsy - so keeping them separated on Printify means you have control over the features that may be different between them.

Hi! When you get a new order, if you chose to use the manual order submission you will need to go to the Orders page in your Printify account (from the menu across the top of the screen) and then click on the submit button for each order. You can also open each order to verify everything before submitting. If you chose one of the automated order submission options, your orders will automatically be submitted to production based on the setting that you chose.

Hi there, Printify handles fulfillment of your orders - they don't receive any funds from your sales channel where your customers place orders, so you have to pay for order fulfillment. I wonder if anyone can help me on an issue I’m having. Etsy suspended my shop 2 weeks in for no particular reason other than being new, but they reinstated it within a couple weeks. Unfortunately, ever since then, Printify shipping profiles don’t seem to automatically sync with Etsy. Also, the order fulfillment doesn’t seem to sync with my app - meaning, once the product ships from Printify, the order status never updates on Etsy. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Your orders will not sync to Printify if you don't connect Printify to your Etsy shop, so you will have to place any orders manually, which is time consuming. That's your choice though if you want to place orders manually.
