Printing My Baby Yoda Sculpt - live stream

Live but slightly late on the take. I just finished printing my Baby Yoda head sculpt on my Taz 5. It came out great but it’s pretty on the layer lines. I’m too cheap and impatient to go at a higher setting.

This goes to a zip file in my Dropbox. The file is almost 400mb though, so be warned. I suggest ABS, but PLA should be fine. The body is divided up and should be printed around 80 to 85% size, though 100% is "technically" how big he is "supposed" to be. 85% is the size at which I printed mine.

Man, I am definitely printing this sculpt, id have paid for the sculpt, but thank you for supplying it to us free! Looks fantastic in a physical form @madeinjapan ! The mouth looks really accurate. Actually on the topic of the cast, how are you planning on doing the mouth armature? Wrinkle-wise. I can imagine it’d b a bit of a pain when creating the anamatronics. :)

LEGO Fox Bricks thanks! I hope you enjoy it. I’m not sure how I’m gonna do it yet but I’ll record the process for sure. Thinking about a double pulley wire with different thicknesses of silicone to ensure it wrinkles in the right places

Made In Japan sounds like some very interesting content! I look forward to it. Also, I was wondering, when you did the initial sculpt, what hardness of clay were you using?

@@LEGOFoxBricks It's called NS 60, they don't have a hard, medium, etc.

Made In Japan would it be around the medium grade of monster clay or chavant clays?

@@LEGOFoxBricks It's hard to get those here, so I'm not sure, but let's say medium-hard. Its really easy to use even just a tad warm
