Printing with Ghost White Toner on decal paper / Foil

Can the white toner be used as a spot color so other colors can be printed on top of the white in the same font for example?

Hi, it works, but it depends on whether the design you are using is suitable. For example, if you have too delicate lines that you want to print on, it is usually a bit difficult.

HI, How can i print color and white in the decal at one pass, is it possible? or should i make the white as base and print the color again, i printed it , alignment is getting wrong, please let us know what is the solution

If the motive is not too small or has many small fine lines, you can reduce the white background by 2-3 pixels in your design software to counteract the offset.

None of the replies below inspire confidence in the use of this for laser printing device for "Water Slide" decals that are in fact "Color" with a opaque white base for use on dark colors. My sole interest is for creating fine scale, 1/64 and 1/87 scale, 4 color opaque water slide decals on a clear film using a printing device instead of the traditional Screen Printing Process. I ask as it would seem maybe the translation of information is being lost due to different language nuances. I do see "White Toner Decals" advertised on web selling channels. Do you have first-hand knowledge your devices are in fact being used by these sellers? I would be interested in the most economical device to start. My seond question is you mention manipulating designs by a couple of pixels, does the "Ghost" come with software for creating or manipulating images?

Hi, the printer used in the video is seen more as a hobby printer by us and is only to show that it is also possible to print decals. All who want to have a higher standard just grab a printer is larger and higher quality. The decals are transparent, they have only a blue backing paper to be able to be printed well and thus the print e.g. in white also on the decal to see so that this can be properly cut out and attached. Our "normal" printers do not have any special software you can create your designs with the design program of your choice and print them as PDF. Our two Pro models each come with special software. Please have a look at the videos of the Ghost Pro and the Ghost Pro X.

Hey, I've used waterslide paper with a simple inkjet printer and had to clear coat my decals to seal in ink, do you not have to do that with your printer?

Hi no you need this with laser printers because they already have the toner fixed on the paper.

oh so this is a laser printer? aren't their saturation lower than inkjets? Also, can I use other brand materials to print on or does it have to be yours? I'm new to printing

Hi, yes, but with most laser printers you can adjust the toner density. It is best to use the foils that we offer in the store because they are tested by us. If you use other films, we do not guarantee that it will work because we have not tested them.

understood, and obviously only your ink cartridges fit? Also does it print in all the colors or just black and white?
