Maybe less common than the opposite problem with prints not sticking or warping, but prints sticking excessively to your print bed may happen. On todays show I will guild you through some reasons and how to fix them.

I've just bought my first 3D printer (CR10s Pro V2). It's a love hate relationship right now but I am having some wins along the way. This video has been way more helpful than any others I've seen so far and very well explained for us beginners. Thank you.

Thanks for the Tips, I tried to level my ender 3 V2 and could not get anything stick to my bed so I added glue stick which solves that issue but now I can not remove the prints without extreme force. Going to try level the bed again but not as tight as before and keep my fingers crossed!

After the print using glue stick, remove the print surface from the printer and run it and the attached printed part under water. The hardened glue will soften up completely and the part will come off easily. Some water is also a good way to refresh an area of glue stick for further prints instead of cleaning it off after every print. Also, use less glue. A little goes a long way.

Thanks for detailed explanation. Your video setup comes through as quite professional, like watching a production television show. New to the hobby and vids like this are helping to "perfect" the art with as little frustration as possible.

even the mirrors are not perfect My ikea mirrors are bad. What I also did was add painters tape behind the miriror helps though if you have a inductive sensor to get a visual of what the bed looks like

Had a print practically weld itself to a glue stick/taped bed to the point I couldn't even remove it via pulling the tape. I pryed at it a bit, but ultimately just headed up the bed to print temp and waited a bit, one portion lifted like that nasty warping effect, and from there it was just as simple as pulling print from the tape. CR10 large print with a raft prelayer. Didn't try that aircan trick, was gonna be my next try, but my glass bed was still a bit warm for me to be comfortable trying that, and I was already reheating the bed once he got to that point. Make sure you give like an hour before you try this less you wanna be replacing that glass!

You need to level your bed every time. It does not take long and you can ensure it is right the first time.

What bed temp do you recommend for PETG? The roll manufacturer recommends a higher bed temp than PLA but you said a higher bed temp increases adhesion. I have WAY too much adhesion so what would you recommend. It says 70 is ideal.
@TheFirstLayer
@TheFirstLayer Жыл бұрын
If the PETg you are using says 70 is I deal that is where I would start. However if you are having a tough time removing your prints from the bed it means that you are too close to the surface. PETg needs to a little more space between the nozzle and bed. This can be accomplished by babystepping the z-offset.

Just had abs inbed into my pei. Pain in the ass to remove now I have permanent red skirting right in the middle of my bed. Probably that nano polymer I applied didn't help with easy removal either.

On my ender 3 V2, sometimes I can't get them off, and sometimes I can't get them to stick no matter HOW much glue I use.

@@WisconsinCarWashChannel I was going to buy a better plate.. but I just use the original build plate the ender 3 came with.. Had a few minor problems.. like sticking.. Easy fix by just keeping the plate 4 corner level, clean from finger grease if you touch plate and cleaning the plate after 10 uses.. Taking off the object when stuck.. Easy fix.. I just went to settings and just heated the bed to 60° waited 15 sec, easy for object to come of without scraping the bed with the scraper.. So far my building plate still looks new..
