Funny how I made a promise to God not to listen to worldly music for a week and also challenge my ability to resist "temptation" I guess and today is my last day. I recently was told by my father (my only remaining parent) that I was a disappointment for following and serving Christ over money and business. My only desire in life, even in my lowest points has been to serve Christ because even then my heart knew His goodness when I couldn't recognize it. Since then I've been making plans upon plans to get out of my home but have been prevented by major health issues and emotional abuse but have finally booked my plane ticket across the country and secured a job in summercamp children's ministry (which is what prompted the "disappointed speech" in the first place) all I can say is God is good and I'm learning fully again that God is just as good as when I first met Him. my life is His and not mine. I'm following through

Hearing this every morning at Christian camp was an experience I’ll never forget. One of the HD’s would play this every morning to wake us up along with all her other songs:(( I miss it so much but praise God I got to go.
