I have one as well… don’t ever take the gear box apart. Not 100% sure but suspect that would void the warranty on the Pinion gearbox. It is made to never be opened. If you are really unsure of the oil level, order oil and syringe from Priority and do an early oil change. It is easy to do with a video or two on KZbin. I use my 600 for bike touring and am about to publish a KZbin video on some of the shortcomings I have found for loading the bike down with camping gear.

Probably not a bad idea to do an early first oil change, like you would with a car.

When you tour on your 600 are you able to change the tire trail side when you get a flat? If so is it extremely difficult?

This bike is fabulous. I have no issues other than the F fender. Too noisy when holding on with one hand, so I removed it permanently I rode 35 miles in the rain Sep 11 in PA. and the only part that got dirty was the underside of the frame, nothing on my body. Not one drop of splashing water. No front fender makes the 600 look less nerdy too.

Same problem with the front fender but I think I know of a way to fix it. Just took the bike on a 130 mile 3-day adventure. Broke a spoke and had two flats but made it through.

Regarding the front fender: just rebend the support brackets out a bit wider. I have the 600 with the County tires. Also, a heat gun will reshape the fender so it's a tad bigger in circumference. It's made out of ABS so it'll soften up easily. Just gently heat it a little and shape it as you go.

excellent, thanks!

Took me all afternoon 4 - 5 hours to remove the front and rear tires on my identical 600 and remount them. Took all kinds of extrodinary measures I wont go into here but they added many hours resaearching on line. Even my special ordered for this purpose Kool Stop super duper cantilever tire puller worked on front rim but failed on the back rim. I think Priority should offer the option of either tubeless rims or normal rims on the 600 according to whether the customer wants inner tubes or not cuz the tubeless rim system they inflict on tubed customers by default is a real real bitch to work on. So I finally get the rear tire on and the bead is not popped into the tubeless hook in the rim and has a low spot dip in the rotating tire. So I let the air out and reinflate it up to 60 psi and one side of that low spot pops into the tubeless seat on ONE SIDE of the tire but not on the other. So the tire rotation is still wonky up and down. Absolutely forget about trail side patching of a tube on this bicycle. You will either walk home, or call a taxi, your ride will have come to an instant end whereever you may be. Your spare tube will be useless so dont even bother carrying a tube and tire irons. ps I broke one of my tire levers doin' this.

you might be trying to install the fender backwards if the brace is at the top of the wheel - I had issues with rubbing but after a few attempts adjusting the bars that connect the fender to the fork as well as bowing them outwards a bit it fits just fine now
@arundquist2 жыл бұрын
I realized after I made the vid that I was describing the brace wrong. It goes behind the fork of course. I'm confident I can get it going

You may want to spray silicone conditioner on belt for squeaks. It's not lubricant but keeps belt not crack longer.

had the front fender problem, also. it's acceptable now, but have a tire half as wide coming from aliexpress. while the tire has low resistance, i don't need that much rubber on the road.

It turned out that my front brake was set to need the front tire to not be fully seated. Now that my shop fixed that, it turns out the front fender isn't rubbing at all. I'm happy about that

I know the sizing on these bikes are different 17 inch is small, 19 is medium and 21 is large, I am trying to figure out what size would be perfect for me since I am 5' 8" with 29 inch inseam what would you recommend.
@arundquist Жыл бұрын
I'm 6'1 with a 32" inseam and the large feels perfect for me. I would guess you'd want the medium but it's hard to know for sure.

I've now installed the front fender that was much easier to do after my local shop seated the fork much better for me.

The fenders suck. The light suck. The belt is way overrated. The only thing good is the pinion gear box. Not worth the money. I had mine for 2 years. Don’t buy rip off.
