Prissy was no victim at all. Prissy, and her parents had it planned for her to marry Elvis for the money, being a Presley for what it could give her. She wanted and still wants to be in the spotlight, greedy. She used Elvis and Lisa Marie in life and even in death. Prissy doesn't have anything I want to be jealous over. I don't hate her or anyone. All the Prissy Worshippers thinks anyone that doesn't defend her thinks we are jealous and hate her. All of the Prissy Worshippers can't handle the real truth about her.

Hmmmm.... theorizing about why Priscilla chose Mike Stone. They met at a tournament in Hawaii (during EP's honeymoon!) where Mike won an award. After the event, Elvis expressed his great admiration and respect for Mike and his accomplishments (Mike Stone says Priscilla told him all this later.....). To connect the dots, I think Priscilla later chose Mike as someone to have an affair with, as revenge --- to become the object of affection of someone Elvis respected and admired (i.e. to make him jealous and regretful.) Mike shares that Priscilla pursued him clearly and aggressively and that he never really understood it, because he did not feel he was handsome, famous, or wealthy or well-connected -- but that his ego got the best of him and he responded out of his own selfishness and low self-esteem, willing to break up his own family to feed his ego. On the converse, I also acknowledge and believe, she was very stifled and met EP at a time when she was just growing up; she was not able to grow up, individualize, and develop in that environment. She would have done better if she had just accepted that she was always simply Elvis's friend, and not have "wanted to be the one". Things might have been better for everybody. As Elvis said when they left the divorce courtroom, "We started as friends and we part as friends." Be careful what you wish for....
@touche972 күн бұрын
well put.. She was too young to be involved with a man of 24. she was infatuated with his fame and mom and dad were oh! so willing to urge her on. At the same time, life for her was hard and money short , most girls would have done the same. In the end the infatuation was over and she left for a life in sunny CA. She never looked back. The money was flowing. Elvis's name was useful. She had that whether she was entitled to it or not. Her Elvis memories would prove to be the golden egg.

Enjoy listening to your channel Joe. Like you I fell for the fairytale of poor Priscilla and how badly Elvis treated her. Now we find out just how manipulative and cruel she was to poor Elvis. Especially that 2nd divorce settlement which nearly bankrupted him Especially when he was so poorly in 1977. We now also know that her book Elvis and Me is historically wrong and Elvis was the good guy. Priscilla was so jealous of Lisa's and Elvis' close bond and I think that's why she did everything she could to take Lisa away from Elvis. It's obvious she never really loved Lisa or she wouldn't have treated her the way she did. I'm just hoping these lawsuits will expose her once and for all. Keep up the good work Joe.

I don't like Cilla. She lies a lot and changes her stories. Marty Lacker said it very clear. E didn't wanna marry her and cried the night before the wedding. In Riley/ Lisa's book you can see a daughter not talking good about her mother. So Lisa lets the world know about her mother. Even more embarrassing...and Cilla smiles...and on top of it Riley publishes the book, puts actually shame on her grandmother by doing this but acts in public like they are best buddies and all is fine. So I don't understand Riley either. But they are both actors playing it well so the fans bring in the money. It's just a money machine.

I hope you saw the "Tenderly Loving Elvis" show about not only the charges against Priscilla thru the Krause Lawsuit but Shawnna showed a text between Riley and Nona, Grandma Priscilla, and it ain't pretty. If you thing all the BS about them getting along it is not true. I kept hearing Riley say in every interview how much she loved Priscilla and what she has done for Graceland, and after helping her mother to write a book, that clearly shows Priscilla's abuse to Lisa, I wondered why no animosity toward grandma? In a text Shawna reads that Riley sends to Priscilla, "Riley says how much money do you want from me, You and Micheal(Lisa's xhusband) keep attacking me, after all I have gone through, Leave me the F alone. That was when Priscilla brought the lawsuit against Riley. Just like I thought Priscilla bulldozed right over Riley and is basically still running Graceland and Riley is just a figure head. Thanks Joe

Joe, I don’t believe that Prissy was ever the victim she wanted people to believe she was. She was not a prisoner at Graceland. She’s far too manipulative and narcissistic to ever be a victim. Sadly, Elvis was the victim of who she pretended to be, and the greedy woman she became. Lisa also became a victim of Prissy’s. She certainly wasn’t a loving mother. She used Lisa to get what she wanted. Elvis never wanted Lisa to suffer because of the actions of her scheming mother.

Joe -- in this video you say that "Elvis dated Dixie Locke and Barbara Hearn at the same time." In an interview with George Klein, I heard Barbara tell the story of the beginnings of their relationship, saying that she and Dixie were friends when Dixie was dating Elvis. She said the two broke up. She said she ran into Elvis at "the station" (I assume she means the radio or tv station), where she was doing some sort of gig and as she walked out of a room, Elvis was there and ran into her. He asked how Dixie was and then asked if he could call her, and she said he called the next day and then regularly after that. So, I do not believe that Elvis dated the two women at the same time. fyi

Elvis dated Barbara and June at the same time through 1956 , June even talks about it in her book. Barbara was Elvis, Memphis girlfriend, they saw each other on and off for a year. Him and Dixie had parted when Elvis met Barbara, Dixie and Barbara were friends and she thought it was sweet of Elvis to ask how Dixie was doing even though they'd parted ways Barbara was a stunning looking young girl .

Just sharing my humble opinion. No one has to agree as we're all different. Sometimes there is no right or wrong to certain things depending how we grew up, geographical area and what generation. Priscilla's parents allow her to move close to Elvis at age of 14. So she can attend school there but she wasn't permitted to live with him. So what is the point knowing the whole purpose was for them to be a couple. I would had never given permission for my 14 daughter to live away nor be with an adult man no matter who it was, famous or not. There is many other things to worry about then just her getting tied up with a young man. I know in the south during that generation it wasn't uncommon for a 14 yr old girls to get married and have children but in my opinion it's wrong. My mother was same age as Elvis, she grew up with six sisters and one brother and none of her sisters left home at 14. Her parents allowing that tells me something about her parents and it tells me about Priscillia, she learned cunning and manipulative traits from one or both. They'd seen money and fame. If it's true about her saying she wanted to be a model, she had stars in her eyes then. I'm not gonna put all the blame on her parents. Elvis had a say in it as well. He should of thought more rational, logical and responsibly. He should had never even considered her after knowing her real age. I do suspect part of his attraction to her is cause he missed out dating at that age. There was a little boy still living inside of himself and a hurt one. He was never popular at school or with the girls. He should had focused on his career and if both were still avaible when she became of age then reconsider. One thing about Elvis is he moved way too quick into serious relationships. I don't think it had everything to do with fame, I think it was a mother wound, her passing at such a young age. Back then psychology and affects of trauma wasn't as known. Another reason I believe was he was an only child, after losing his mother he felt abandoment wound deeper and more painful. In these day and times he would of had a much better opportunity for grief therapy treatment. Any parent that allows their 14 yr old daughter to venture off to a school, not expecting their daughter to be intimate but with plans they move into together at 18 and get married is so off the cuff. Just the moving alone is bizarre. Most parents that allowed their daughters to get hinged at that age, they both signed off on it, but it wasn't a case where their daughter was moving away to go to school, then the marriage 4 years later. It would drive a loving mother crazy releasing her daughter from her care at 14 to go to school in another state. Just the fact of missing out on spending time with her is enough to drive her mad, let alone worried if she'd get hurt. I think it was all premediated and Priscilla knew. I can see them saying something like, 'this is your way out, it's your ticket", "it will not only be your break but a break for us". "Things like this are once in a lifetime, if you're lucky", "make sure you have a child with him cause it will always gurantee you wealth". I'm willing to bet, if there was no money involved with a guy she fell for, they would had never permitted her to leave. They knew their daughter was a very beautiful girl and it wouldn't be long until guys started lining up for her, so along came Elvis, and their thoughts were, this is the jack pot. If we don't take this chance then we have to chance her meeting an abusive alcoholic broke guy and stuck with him cause of kids. It was 4 yrs. they didn't have to worry about her getting pregant cause a mans word meant something then, and they knew when she did it would be with a guy that was a southern gentelman that served, he's wealthy and famous. They were thinking of the what if's and those didn't look good so they rolled the dice with Elvis. I'd imagine a lot of mothers back then, would had done the same. If we all can't speak our perceptions of what looks true to us then we all just live in a echo chamber, thus we don't learn anything. As long as opinions are articulated without being rude, aggressive, filled with profanity and being vile, it should be ok. It's just how I look at it. Reality of it is, money unfortunately typically plays a big decision maker in our survival. When I look for an answer, my first question to myself is, follow the money. It's what makes sense to me. Appreciated you covering that book and thanks for allowing others their opinions. ✌

A lot of fans will tell things the way it was and say the truth. Whatever Elvis and Priscillas relationship was about that was maybe a learning lesson for both.
