Quute simply, for Subaru, it doesn't matter who, or what he's up against, his resolve is set, and by this point in the show, Subaru's resolve is unbreakable. He WILL get his happy ending, any other ending is unacceptable. It is greedy beyond all reason, which is exactly the development he had in season 2. He will save all he cherishes, no matter what, and he will do it without throwing away his life unless someone absolutely important to him is truly unsaveable. He will give himself up if needed, but not carelessly. Risking your life to win, and actively trying to die to win, are very different, and he has sworn off doing the latter

@NinjaKumaReacts It would absolutely crush Subaru, since at this point, she is one of the pillars of his sanity, but I think he would be able to overcome it eventually, after all, Subaru by this point isn't solely reliant on Emilia, he has other people he cares about to, so if this did happen, Subaru will make it through. I mean what else can he do, can't exactly join Emilia.

@@NinjaKumaReacts Same thing, although if he lost both, he would probably spiral until someone knocked him out of it. Probably Otto. Again, he still has people he cares about, even if Emilia and Rem are the most important. He could overcome losing them, even if it wouldn't be easy. He's not solely reliant of either, he over came that in Arc 4. They are obviously the MOST important, but they are not his own universe.

Regulus is what happens when a person who isn't worth anything is givin the most power that he never earned. I like Regulus and I hate him. He is irredeemably evil and his self justification makes him even worse, and that is why he works as a villlain.

@@ronantheronin3521 that’s funny you mention it, cuz when s2 came out and he blathered on about his rights I was reminded of antivazzers screaming about how they shouldn’t be “muzzled” by masks cuz it’s against their rights. The rights of others to not get sick and the fact they MUST still serve them as employees in whatever establishment they’re in reminded me of Regulus. Point is, any person, conservative or liberal who’s got a major victim complex who abuses others is Regulus. And there’s plenty of fascists and republicans who are the same

My friend even if he tries written by death and getting help from rainhard the outcome still would be same for the civilian and no can use magic around him plus Subaru can only go back 10 or 15 minutes so even if he tries he can't go back. Checkpoint was at the conversation with Emilia Priscilla Betty and Bard Girl - Reinhard somehow dispelled the Witch Factor on him by touching him so...... i dunno about that Either way, checkpoint has probably moved now so too late to fix anything

​@@NinjaKumaReacts Actually Reinhard only has a little resistance to Sirius' authority, he is not immune, if he delays in defeating her Reinhard will fall under her authority just like Subaru and the others, until Subaru finds a solution to Sirius, Reinhard would not be of much use and even worse If Reinhard avoids eliminating it for fear of others getting hurt, him being under Sirius' power would be one of the worst possible scenarios.

Arc 6 spoilers; . . . Problem with Louis is that she only seems to consume happy memories cuz “I want to be happy”. And as such, she doesn’t understand when ppl hurt their chances of happiness in those moments cus they’re flawed ppl shaped by their trauma or bad experiences. So in a way, finally consuming someone properly for the purposes of an ability that would automatically require those negative experiences for a happy ending finally had her experience something bad for a change lol

But if the Archbishops are named after the stars of the Subaru world, and among them there is the only unvoiced one - Pride, then therefore it can be concluded that Pride does not want to advertise itself and acts covertly...
