Prismarina is one of the best theorists I've known out there. Also I think Joey and Lizzie swapped origins for Season 2. Lizzie said her ancestors were tigers which match the tigers that you mentioned in Joey's empire. The tigers were meant to rule over Joey's empire when his reign ended and Lizzie was a descendant and it looks like Joey rules over the ocean now. I can't help thinking that this is a connection. I still can't get over how Lizzie went from the Ocean Queen to now a cat, that's scared of water. I'm loving Season 2 in Empires so far.

In regards to S2 Lizzie being conected to S1 Joey's empires, a lot can also be said for the opposite. That is, S2 Joey has a lot in common with S1 Lizzie (ruler of the sea, primary export is prismarine), and may even share some sort of connection there. Personally, my head-canon is that the Ocean Queen was actually the one to save Pirate Joe from drowning, and that Sir Piggles was just a friend of his she guided into protecting him. It would make a lot of sense that the former Queen of the sea would awaken after a millennia to rescue her successor, bestowing some level of power onto him. However, with the way Pirate Joe is going right now, turning evil and without proper guidance for the sea, Queen Lizzie may return to warn him of his actions, or even punish him out right and strip away his title.

I don't call Katherine cursed, I think of her as the unlucky type. On top of the bad luck, a very ignorant and very selfish pirate doesn't respect her boundaries. Katherine has been through enough.

So i have a theory the Shrub Berry is still alive, becuase gnomes live for a very long time and age slower as they grow, so she'd only be about 25 in human years, also with the protection of the wolf spirit she would have lived even longer. This means Shrub watched all of her friends die becuase of her, and i mean, if that wouldnt make someone a villian idk what would, she i think she and her pack will be the villians, she most likley wouldnt ever reveal her face, she'd just be the 'Wolf Spirit' but i would legit *love* that, just to see Shrub basiclly become what she worked her whole life to prevent, that would be heartbreaking and i love angst

Here's my theory Season 1 and 2 Pix are the same Pixandria was not completely destroyed during the season finale, it was only partially destroyed by Joey and the copper king had simply vanished with us not knowing about what happened to him. Pixandria is also largely connected to life and death with it containing a shrine powered by totems of undying underneath and it's most important landmark, the vigil, serving to keep track of people's deaths. As such, Pix found a way to make himself immortal leading to him being alive as of season 2. Because that immortality is the reason why he knows so much about the history of the world since he lived through it. Not only that, he cares so much preservation, he seeks to preserve the history as it's the only remaining connection he has to his past and to his deceased friends, whom he was not capable of saving. Lastly, this explains why his love for emeral ore remains consistent in both seasons

Geminitay Brave theory The movie Brave seems to be closely related to Geminitay's lore (and perhaps Shubbles lore as well). Credit to my friends who dont watch empires for this theory. I havent watched Brave in a long time so this might be vague. Gem has been following around mysterious "wisps" in her episodes. In the movie Brave, according to my friends, the girl "follows the wisps to the witch" (and the girl, by the way, has red hair, just like Gem). I remember something about bears in the movie Brave, and after watching Gems most recent episode, she finds A BEAR, which further confirms this theory. if someone can watch the movie again to clarify this theory feel free!

I have a theory about the reapture this season: Jimmy finally finished the railway what cosses a lot of shaking in the goblands, eventually the goblands collapse and taking with it half of animalia. Stratos falls out of the sky. Causing a crater that destroyed the flowers in Chromia (For the other kingdoms IDK) but at the end everyone becomes a citizen of sanctuary.

Ok so my theory is not that deep or intresting but my theory is regarding pirate Joe , Princess Katherine and the great witch Shelby. We already know that Joey and Shelby are competing for Katherine's love. So I've already watched your video it's great how you listed the pros and cons of both relationships but i say that Shelby and Joey have a lot in common. The fact that Shelby stole from Joey and earned his respect, how they both don't like the sheriff very well and both of them have similar pasts like Joey was defeated by skeletron and Shelby who is most probably not the best witch in the academy also being the reason she was sent to live in a swamp. I say as they both together find out about Katherine's alliance with the sheriff they are going to ditch Katherine and they'll start dating eachother with no one else available Katherine feels depressed and Jimmy helps her out. She will slowly start falling in love with Jimmy.

It’s my head-cannon that all Emperors/ Empresses from season 1 rebirths into season 2 in order to either atone for there sins or get to live the life that was denied from them Joey: stole the axolotl from the sea Queen, he became the next sea ruler and became a pirate- a person who’s known for stealing things Lizzy- stole cat royalty and became a descendent of them in her next life, also she lost the blessing of the sea and became a cat never agin to touch the water Scott- he had to “off himself” to stop his brother and was constantly in a position that kept him from relaxing. In his new life he spends the 1st part of it having fun (adventuring) and runs a much more relaxed kingdom. For the most part the biggest problems he’s had where Owen and the hermits, it’s like the universe is letting him relax this time

I have this theory that might explain Princess Katherine backstory and the curse! Long ago there were 2 friends. One named Katherine was Smart,Cheerful and Attractive and another named "X" (X is a place holder name) who was Loud,Messy and Unattractive. One Day, The Queen of Glimmer Grove fell gravely ill. She was almost about to die and there was no one to rule... No heir, no cousins... No one. Before her death she held a contest. The Queen adored flowers. It was the stable of Glimmer Grove. She gave all the citezens that wanted to be the Queen one seed. A seed that would grow a flower so Bright and So Colourful Your heart would melt just by one glance. Like the air around you was gracefully lifting you up. Every Citezen tried to grow the flower but to no avail. It was utterly hopeless. Some even marked it as a joke or a trick.. Katherine however was confident she was determined she tried anything to grow the flower and when she was about to give up... Until Magic happened. Literally MAGIC HAPPENED! X walked in with glowing hands and somehow had the ability to grow any flower! She was like a gift from nature! Katherine watched as X used her powers to grow the flower. She waved her goodbyes to her dear friend! She then rushed to the Queens Palace and was declared the new ruler days before the Queens passing. X however watched as Katherine..Her only friend forgot about her.... They stopped hanging out. They stoped calling. X remembered visiting the palace and was immediately shut down by Katherine herself. "Sorry Dear, Visitors arent allowed this week."-Katherine spoke with elegance and grace. "What??" I shockingly shouted. "HELLO?? EARTH TO KATHERINE! ITS ME! YOU'RE FRIEND SINCE WE WERE KIDS???" "Guards please get this ugly, ridiculous looking nuisance out of my sight." Ok, so I have a big theory, What if Shubble got Expelled from Crystal Cliffs and Will get a villain arc. We know that Shubble was expelled from a Magic Academy But we don’t get a name, Shubble also has a familiar, which is Tortoise. Like Gandalf was Gem’s. Shubble was clearly upset by this and throws out the evidence, but my theory is that Princess Katherine Falls into the lava in the nether by where Shubble dropped her book and her cars save her, She find the book. Shubble refuses to tell anyone except for close friends but maybe a Certain Princess will find another clue. Katherine and Shubble were close in S1 and in AfterLife, They didn’t talk at all. Maybe S2 will really bring out Shubble’s Bad side. I personally would love a Katherine & Joey vs Shubble and Skeletron. Skeletron may wanr to subdue Katherine and Katherine may not want to hurt Shelby.

My theory for katherine: When the overgrown had an earth quake i might believe two female and male villagers escaped and years later found overgrown back but they didnt remember, so they rebuilt the castle and named it Glimmer Grove, the spring was still alive and was mad at the female and male villager so the spring managed to find lady katherines crown that she dropped at the end of her empire s1 episode, the crown had a magic amethyst, that contained the past ruler's(not katherine) magic that can bring someone/something back to life, the spring somehow found its connection to katherine, the spring made katherine came back, but the magic made her a *tulip and wither rose* which is a curse that made a human having to sides that represent a *tulip* (nice, sweet, kind) while the *wither rose* (brave,kind,confidence) the overgrown split in half again bc the magic's curse on katherine, and the spring is still alive till this day...

Shelby is technically a criminal, and Joey would understand that and respect her. And Shelby can potentially change him for the better, if he had respect for her. I have a theory... a empires theory, sorry I had to do that, anyways my theory is: You know how xronth from last season wanted destruction right well what if he cursed a kingdom any kingdom and he randomly cursed Glimmer Grove and if the theory about Glimmer Grove and the Overgrown are connected that means my theory could be possible. Xornoth could have cursed the kingdom and cursed a royal member in the royal family specifically Katherine, he could of cursed Katherine and the biggest earthquake when she was born could of been Xornoth soul entering her body. Maybe Xornoth is hiding out in Katherine princess of Glimmer Grove body or is slowly corrupting her. My proof is she's like almost cursing everything around her like her noble steed, the castle, her brthday earthquake. and Glimmer Grove could be connected to the Overgrown so the Overgrown could be the kingdom that got cursed. (strange theory ahead) so, I thought that Katherines empire -forgot the name- was the same empire as glimmer grove, and at the start of ep1 for Katherine s2, meaning why one side was corrupted and their where random patches of dirt that was the remnant of house blossom and due to the earthquakes, the flower died out but saying that the same empire as -forgot the name- the earthquakes would of filled and and so on, the empire crumbled along with everything else, except the stronghold (another weird theory ahead) I think, that xorthoth tried to corrupt everything, leading to joeys empire falling and joey as well, since xorthoth couldn't have anyone to control, he went back to wherever he came from, then like 100yrs later, the tiger prince and princess made it out and then Lizzy (calico?) I think Lizzy was exiled from being a calico. :/ enjoy my weird theory!

So, is no one gonna talk about the same corrupted color on her flowers in season 1? - it's the same color- Here's my theory Instead of the earthquakes cursing the kingdom I think that when Shelby and Katherine were young, Shelby was forced to curse Katherine or else she wouldn't become a proper witch, But since it was a long time ago and Katherine didn't really know who Shelby was,They can't remember each other properly.And Shelby is taking this as an opportunity to erase her problems and keep being friends with Katherine.
