I just ordered that vacuum kit today except with the light for it. Had me worried as how this video seemed to start

Would it not be easier to spray the green first, then mask the green and spray the black ? Easier to wipe, mask or vacuum the flat surfaces instead of the the deep recessed parts is it not ? Just wondering.

Possibly, and a lot of times you do want to assess the entirety of the job to figure out the best starting point. With this particular wheel it didn't seem too bad either way.

Is there a better way to get clean lines between the colors. The camera is moving quickly and isn't very close to the wheel but, especially under the black light, you can see how jagged/not clean the lines are. If I were a customer, there is no way I'd be happy with that result.

The lines are actually pretty clean, but the metallic flake made them look pretty rough, they were much better looking in person. If you are masking, you want to peel the tape when the powder is still pretty soft and a very warm temperature. If you are using a vacuum, you really just need patience and a steady hand. Like most things a lot of practice will help. As we mentioned in the video, we really liked using the vac, but there are times when masking will be a better option.
