Omg this helped me so much My son saw one of these videos and he called me this morning to apologize. It brought me to tears to know and understand how much this process of him being in prison affected me.

Do you really think he's just going to talk to your mom? Come on. Besides he's not a child, I understand that you miss him. But I think that if you would have brought him with you, you would have avoided that. If he was your partner. That's what I would have done. My right hand man, my oldest son. God bless you and that's just my opinion. Hope he does better when he gets out.

I understand why she didn't move him to California with her. She didn't want to uproot him when her plan was not solid. She left him in his stable, familiar environment.

I can’t put my finger on it but something seems disingenuous about her story. Great interview and not trying to take anything away or judge her situation. I just feel like a part is missing.

I agree, but I think she could have done something's differently. I would have loved to have traveled with my son. We leaping together!

There is something missing cause what was she doing in LA for her son not to be with her.

@@michaeledwards4594who cares. Her son was an adult at that time, or had finished high school. It may have been a mistake to leave him but it seemed like her son wasn’t really listening and going his own way. My mom kicked me out for wayyyy petty reasons but I don’t blame her as a grown adult now. I did it differently with my children and have expressed how damaging that is. My mom has her own view of it, but she still apologized and I know she loved me, she just wasn’t perfect and I was imperfect in different ways raising my children. Men continually needing to blame women is annoying and corny. The dad who abandoned him don’t even get smoke. He should have been around to help guide his son too. Stop absolving men of accountability and control over their lives. Women are raised by these same bad mothers too, no passes given for them. Stop trying to defend thug criminals.

@michaeledwards4594 She was establishing a more progressive life for him. He fucked it up with his bad decision.

I know her and the true story is that she left IL in 2017 due to a planned move - she didn’t just wake up in the middle of the night. She was involved with a married man and was working a retail job. She was moving because she thought she could be an actress and her son asked her not to go and she told him she needed to move for herself. She is in reality a very selfish narcissistic person. I feel sorry for Damiani

Her son made his choices. Take accountability and stop making excuses for him, yall expect women to keep you in line while preaching “We leaders.” Y’all find any excuse to try to move the goalpost.
