I'm old enough to understand that children did go into prisons at certain times of the year but to actually let that child go and play in the gym with her is just beyond belief. The authorities and the dad were outright delusional.

What is wrong with this man ffs Thinks its ok to take your daughter to meet Myra a CHILD KILLER who had an affair with Rose West another CHILD KILLER. She had zero remorse and manipulated all those around her. Its a horrible thought but your daughter would of been used by Myra in her ( and other inmates) fantasies. All of those involved should be ashamed and have a serious look at themselves. This made me so fucking angry!!!!

I really liked this man until he spoke about taking his vulnerable daughter into a prison period! But, then to allow a prolific child killer to spend time with her and to go off into the prison alone with her is beyond irresponsible, disgraceful, foolish and pointless!! Myra has shown on multiple occassions that her brain doesn't connect with her crimes, the fact that she continued to fight for freedom tells me that. I have always believed that she is equally as evil as Brady and both were motivated by Sexual perversions related to vulnerable minors so God only knows what fantasies spending time with his daughter provoked!

Myra was very manipulative. No matter how well he thought he knew her or how well they got on, she clearly managed to convince him she was trustworthy and it was a good idea to spend time alone with his 8 year old. Through his own naïvety and against his better judgment, he let a convicted serial child killer leave with his daughter to look around the prison. He is lucky nothing happened. The governor was completely irresponsible to let this happen. Ive watched alot of true crime and read a lot of books on prisons and the justice system and I’ve never been this shocked. Can you imagine the personal enjoyment Myra got out of that encounter? It seriously makes a mockery of the victims, the justice and the feelings of the victims families. Unbelievable.

Myra never showed any remorse. If she did then she would have let Keith Bennetts heartbroken mother know where her son was buried. But she let the woman go to her grave without giving her that closure.
@privateeye6942Ай бұрын
100%!!! The fact both her and Brady didn't divulge his whereabouts should never be forgiven or forgotten. Any interaction with her should have been done if she gave his whereabouts in return. All of her victims should be alive and thriving right now and she took that all away from them.
@KeepingTheFaith123Ай бұрын
@@privateeye6942 exactly. So he can't try and make out that she suddenly turned a corner and became a nice woman who regretted her crimes. And she also manipulated a prison warden and had an affair with her to use the warden in an attempt to escape out of prison. And manipulating Lord Longford in an attempt to be released early from prison. If she was truly sorry for her crimes she wud have wanted to stay in prison for the rest of her days as punishment for her crimes.
@privateeye6942Ай бұрын
@KeepingTheFaith123 there has been some speculation that she was released and never died in prison. I don't think it's too far fetched to believe that when you look at the bigger picture of what was going on at the time and the people she had fighting her corner. She was meant to have been down to 8 stone before she died. Funny there aren't any photos of her looking unwell as you'd expect to see at some point. Then the alleged sighting of her after she meant to have died. There's no way they'd have wanted the public to know she released. Many, many people were showing her kindness, affection and giving of their time. I'll never understand why. She shouldn't have been given anything until she divulged where Keith was buried. Sadly I think there are many many more victims. The police only concentrated on people who disappeared locally but I have no doubt they are responsible for other disappearances in other parts of the country by travelling off together. To her, Keith probably was one of many who they hadn't admitted to.
@KeepingTheFaith123Ай бұрын
@@privateeye6942 and that sister of hers Maureen was no better either as she ended up forgiving her and standing by her. Never forget Maureen on the TV show Brass Tacks speaking down to Lesley's mum Ann Downey and defending her sister Myra. It's bad enough defending her but to actually have a go at a victims mother like she did to poor Ann was disgraceful. Ann had been through enough. She didn't need that on top.
@privateeye6942Ай бұрын
@KeepingTheFaith123 No she certainly didn't need that. I find it strange that other family members didn't know what they were up to. Like they took poor Edward Evans back to their house and didn't seem to mind neighbours hearing the loud screams from what he endured. What if family turned up while they were doing it? I still think there were more people involved.

I’ve watched half of the episode and had to pause to write this comment. I’m willing to edit it later if I feel I’m wrong. From what I’ve seen, and the guy may not agree, but it seemed like he was infatuated by the “aura” of Hindley. He wasn’t exactly qualified, which he admits to, yet he felt he was still happy to work with Hindley. She mentioned in her first meeting with him that she would ultimately like to be free and had a hearing coming up, then lo and behold not long after their meeting she wants to speak to him and agrees she needs counselling. I wonder why that was? Is it because she wanted to show on her parole review that she was taking steps to change? She sounds like she was manipulating him and he was falling for it. So far he comes across as either naive, dumb or somehow liked the thrill of working with someone like Hindley. After all, why would you give up your free time which isn’t paid for to work with one of the most notorious child killers in UK history.
